Thank you so much! You have been very encouraging to me! Sometimes I feel I am very alone in this journey but lucky there is this place for me to raise my thoughts and concerns. I will be positive and hope for the very best!

I do not have plan at the moment for more than 1 kid as now already thinking if I can really have 1 or not. My concern is if I fail again this time I need to restart new cycle again which is more demoralising. Guess I’m more comfortable with banking in embryos first given my age.

    Endometrial polyps and pregnancy

I’m under KK as subsidised patient and I paid ard $800+ from Medisave and subsequently claim from my hospitalisation insurance. As for good doctor I cannot recommend to you as I just go along with what the hospital has assigned to me.

Yes, initially I thought maybe to use up that frozen embryo first but I think I will feel more terrible if this fet fails and I’m back to square one again. Currently I’m not working as well so able to rest 2-3 months and start another fresh cycle.

Thanks for the info. I have no plan to discard it since is still usable. I am thinking to start 2nd fresh to collect my eggs first instead of FET the frozen one.

    Anyone doing IVF in 2020?

I have just failed my first fresh ICSI and period already came. I am left with grade C embryo freezed at the moment. Trying for my first at 40, should I start another fresh cycle if doctor deemed I’m fit or proceed with FET ? I’m not sure how much is the embryo storage fee at KK for that one...

    Endometrial polyps and pregnancy

Hi I think is better to remove cos it might affect implantation and if there is implantation the polyp might compete with the baby for nutrients and is not good for the baby’s growth as well since they are not supposed to be there. Polyp might lead to constant bleeding or spotting during...

    Anyone doing IVF in 2020?

Not really. Only at the beginning when the forceps is being inserted. Must try to relax so not as painful. I don’t even have spotting from it. Don’t worry!

    Trying to conceive 2020

The only thing to note for my case is to jab at the exact timing given by the nurse. Other than that nothing much already.

    Trying to conceive 2020

I took it 2 weeks ago. The pain level around same as Orgalutran but is tolerable. Slight sting and burning skin was red but subsided fast. Have some headache and fatigue that’s about it.

My fresh transfer was done on Tuesday. May I know which day will be safe enough to use HPT?

I’m first timer for this. Doc did tell me safer to opt for natural n ICSI together as there might be risk for nil fertilisation. Went along with her since is first fresh cycle. ICSI has higher fertilisation success but also has slightly more abnormalities than conventional IVF.

Think you won’t feel much of the needle pain as concurrently u r given the oxygen to breathe in n u be deep asleep in less than 5 breaths.
