I read on the Mummies fb group that there are 2 kinds, one is hotter, the other is the one with limes on the label. I used the lime one during my gassy phase, this is the one the fb groups recommend.

Went in for weekly checkup earlier, lol, 1.5cm dilated only, and doc said my contractions are braxton hicks..so confusing! Baby's head has engaged, but still v shallow, just that chances of baby moving out of position is low. Also very ecstatic to have been discharged from diabetic specialist...

Morning Mummies , and Selamat Hari Raya !! Am still getting slightly painful contractions, they seem to only start up in earnest when i walk , did a search and sounds like I am going through prodromal labour? Everything feels so tender too...guess I will have to endure this a lot longer than...

The doc told me I'm already in early stage of labour on Monday night , but only 1cm and light contractions with pains (bearable, menstrual like cramps). Since then, I have been getting contractions but not consistent , and pain has lessened . Also noticed a little sticky mucous like discharge...

Hehehe if possible try not to take the gravy if you cannot resist laksa~~~ :) My dietitian says cannot take coconut water, and it is a myth anyway.....the vernix caseosa is a protective layer for the baby and not "dirty"....just my opinion lah

Oh dear! Did u take the gravy? I am so scared of anything containing coconut milk, and even when i take soups or braised food i dun even take any of the soup or gravy cos that's where all the hidden sugars are !!! My bet is, the honey lemon is the main culprit. Honey is as good as taking pure...

@gan1972 the LC said to use a small spoon, like those feed infant type, or a syringe at the side of the mouth, don't squirt just drop by drop...do u moisturise your nipple with bm after each feed ? Sorry I also dunno, maybe can check w ur LC or fb grp for more info

Can de can de! I saw some nipple shields that are supposed to help mamas with inverted nipples to bf, and the LC at KKH said if I have inverted nipples, she can help to draw it out or teach how to bf...but I shy to let her inspect haha

Eeks I also have large nipples.... The LC taught me how to coax baby to open mouth bigger, she say use nipple to stroke the nose first, let her "Gian" the scent of milk, then when she open mouth quickly shove in fast fast, I hear liow cannot help but laugh. She say if too shallow, must unlatch...

Awwwww @dnegreat I feel for you ...but you know what, you have taken the right and best steps for yourself and baby. Take heart in that, because as the doc kept harping in my 2nd trimester, diet control can only get some mummies that far, once the third trimester hormones kick in, some mummies...

@tuna I also never really keep track of duration anymore, came up with the estimate by approximate number of times per hr only....this is cos the nurse and doc told me, since first child, no need to go back in until the pains become unbearable XD I have appt on 7th, will see how much I have...
