Timmerin, when you take blood for oscar test, they should have tested thalassemia too. If you are a Singaporean, can go to kk hospital thalassemia dept to do the thalassemia dna test at $15. My gynae at tmc but they refer me to kk to do this test cos cheaper. If they detect thalassemia beta...

According to my mum, cannot take mutton during pregnancy cos it can cause "yang dian feng" to the baby. I don't know whether it's true or not.

Went to gynae appointment today at 6 weeks 2 days. Fetal pole 3.6mm and saw heartbeat. Is it normal? Gynae say normal. My next appt is 2 weeks later. Hopefully to see a growth.
