    IVF at KKH or TMC

I think the usual quote is to expect $9000-$12000 at public hospitals. For private hospitals - can vary greatly, depending on who you see - but it would be upward of $12000.

    IVF at KKH or TMC

If you are a Singaporean and your hubby is Singaporean, government grant is $3000. If you are PR/foreigner then amount is reduced. For me, hubby Singaporean, me PR - I only got $2100 Ie. at least one of you (you or hubby) must be a Singaporean to get govt grant. Government grant only given if...

Support Group - Singpost doing away with re-delivery services for registered bulky items

Yeah, I think twice whenever I want to do shopping online nowadays. The ladies at the post office tell me that for non-registered but bulky mail, they will not re-deliver - instead a DN to collect at your designated post office will be left. But for regstered mail, they will offer a redelivery...

Wasn't there a write-up in the papers (straits times) recently about IVF in Johor? You could give it a try... Should be cheaper, just the hassle of travelling to and fro...

Anyone consider going abroad for IVF, ICSI, or IUI?

What would your reasons be for doing so? Cost? Success rate? Different laws? IVF is rather time consuming. There are frequent visits for ultrasound follow-up, multiple injections etc. will you be able to stay in the foreign country for that duration? Do you have a support network there? Or...

IVF at Care or Thomson Fertility Centre

I did my IVF (fresh cycle) at CARE in Feb this yr - and was successful! Plus point is that the centre is run by an embryologist herself and she oversees the lab procedures. Lab facilities are thus very good. TFC embryologist I heard also very good - previously ran the lab at KKH. Good luck!

Dr June Tan is a senior consultant at KKH. Charges are the standard rate for senior consultants. (best to call up admissions office at KKH) as I dun remember how much. Either get a referral from GP/poly or even self referral - make booking through the KKH central appointment hotline number...

    Philips Airfryer

Airfryer much healthier. I find airfrying any of the stuff from the frozen food section (fries, nuggets, wings etc) pretty good. Only thing, I find the basket a bit small - cannot put too much in at the same time cos need air to circulate around the food to cook it. Now price seems to...

    BEWARE: Zalora Singapore

I had problems too when I bought a dress and 2 rugs from them - they delivered the dress promptly but not the rugs. It's true that their toll-free no is impossible to get through to - I was on hold for over an hour abd then they just hung up abruptly! I then emailed - twice before I got a...
