Hi all
I just got a BFN for my first IVF cycle today. My menses should come soon. The strange thing is I've been feeling sick in the stomach since 5am. I threw up every single thing that went into my tummy including water and I'm also having diarrhea. I've lost count how many times I did both...
I did a medicated FET. I was given mercilon and progynova. Only had one butt jab. One scan before ET to confirm lining is thick enough. The butt jab costs $300+ and is not covered under IVF subsidy or Medisave. I continued with weekly acupuncture throughout. The meds gave me terrible mood swings...
Doctors have to say it is luck. They can't tell the patient it is your fate not to have children! Fortune tellers will say the latter! Just trying to add some humor to lighten the mood here. Hope you don't mind ;)

I did acupuncture with a Chinese physician and she suggested that I drink soya bean to help build up the lining. I had one low sugar warm soya bean drink from Mr Bean every morning until just before ET. My lining was 13mm before my ET. Maybe you can try.
Good idea to take a holiday since it can help you relax. Old folks usually do not announce these good news until 3 months when things are assumed to have stabilised though :)
Most old folks do not fully understand what is IVF since this is not a norm during their times. I think what is most important is your hubby appreciates what you are doing. Take care! :)
I think it is normal because of the follicles building up. I also developed a slight muffin top during my injections and the belly button area felt stretched. My belly resumed to normal a few days after OR.
