Lucky you and congratulations! I was also prescribed Letrozole to be taken from D2 to D5. My scan was on D12 with trigger shot on the same day before IUI procedure on D13. Currently, on the TWW and it's my 1st cycle.

Hi I was prescribed letrozole to be taken as part of my IUI treatment. From what I understand, letrozole is used to stimulate ovulation. Was there a discussion with your doctor on the ovulation aspects? There are a number of ways to monitor ovulation, and you may want to read up on them but...

Thank you! I read and heard about the low success rate of IUI too (in comparison to IVF). It is still good news that you conceived! We can only hope that the sperms swim and meet the egg in such cases. Must say your girl friend is lucky to be able to conceive naturally without the IUI procedure!

Like you, my ovulation is normal, and menstrual cycles are regular and we are generally healthy. I am already in my late 30s so I can relate to the TTC difficulties that are due to age.
