    Advice needed

If talking face to face is difficult, perhaps you may want to try messaging (eg. whatsapp or sms). When we write it down in text, it's easier for us to be more truthful about our feelings and thoughts. Usually we are more talkative and frank when we type on whatsapp / sms. And we tend to re-read...

Pinching in uterus after sex during ovulation

Is the feeling on 1 side or both sides? Could be ovulation pain. I get that during my ovulation period. The discomfort/pain usually will last about 1-2 days for me.

    September 2016 Mummies!

I think my mil and helper is feeding baby 1 solid meal a day, the rest is milk or milk+rice cereal mix. We didn't use a blender to mash the food. I bought a NUK mash & serve bowl and we just mash the food. Baby is taking packet puree more these days cos according to mil, baby doesn't like...

    Breast Pump Recommendations?

I used Unimom Allegro. Bought extra flange set to make it a dual pump. Gotta say it served me well during my breastfeeding journey. The size is smaller and more compact than Unimom Forte and strength of suction is quite strong. Only downside is getting spare parts is not that easy, unlike...

    September 2016 Mummies!

I'm new to motherhood too. I'll just follow according to my in-laws practices as long as it's not something ridiculous or endangering baby. Heard fr mil, 4th month onwards can let baby test the taste of sour, sweet, bitter and spicy. Just taste test, not swallowing solids yet...main diet is...

    Dr HO from Mt Alvernia

Just to share...Dr. Ho is pretty well-known in Mt. A I think. I opted for single room at My Lady's ward and there were renovations going on, so it's pretty noisy at certain parts of the ward. When I admitted, I was assigned a normal single ward room (Room A). After I came back out from my csect...

    Dr HO from Mt Alvernia

Hi, I just delivered in Sept 2016. I delivered via csect, so clinic helped me to book the OT. For hospital admission, I did it online via Mt. A pre-admission registration. On actual day, I had a final check up by Dr. Ho before heading to level 1 at Mt. A main building for admission procedures...

    September 2016 Mummies!

I think I'm finally getting use to the routine of looking after the baby. Gotten easier I guess...now it's easier to understand baby's cues. But of cos there are times when she's fussing and refusing to sleep, it can still get on my nerves. Yup, going out helps but I still don't dare to go out...
