Popular ones at KKH who are highly recommended by people around me are Dr John Tee, Dr CK Khoo. I am currently seeing Dr CK Khoo.

Does your doctor offer other forms of test? Perhaps Harmony test or Panorama test? Both can test for Down Syndrome and is more accurate and less invasive.

I think 5 weeks is still too early to see anything, you should be able to see a tiny heartbeat from week 6 onwards. Usually they only determine fetus's viability at week 8, so just be patient. Hope everything goes well for you ;)

Duphaston tabs are for you to stabilise your pregnancy, I took them during my first trimester without any problems. You can ask your gynae why she gave you that, but personally I think she is just trying to play it safe. :)

Congrats @US_Mamabliss! I have also confirmed with the doctor at KKH that the Down Syndrome test is the OSCAR test, which is the $300+ which I have paid for.

@Bendi, but i think since the gynae didn't mention anything about pregnancy and fibroid cannot co-exists, I think should be ok. For now, let us trust the experts. :D
