I am currently expecting and over 40. Just make an appointment to see gynae for first checkup and slowly take it from there if you need recommendation on gynae, just post in this forum or ask your friends/family for referrals.

My gynae is Assoc Prof John Tee. I had fewer visits scheduled during my 2nd tri in 2017. If in doubt, just check with your gynae his/her reason for the fewer appointments in 2nd tri. All the best

I went for the Thomson Medical antenatal classes and as first time parents, both my hubby and me found the classes to be informative and helpful. The price is usually inclusive of spouse/partner. I delivered my baby in KKH.

Yes, common practice to pay deposit to secure CL; I will keep banking slip as payment proof. It is all a matter of trust too, as my CL has shared before, unpleasant experiences of mummies cancelling last minute on her service, which was unfair to her as she had already turned down other assignments.
