    IVF/ICSI Support Group

Mine is tomorrow and I am so nervous. Had some symptoms like twinges in my tummy and sore boobs but I took a HPT today and it was negative. I know they tell you not to do these things but I think it was the right thing to do. At least I had a day to be mentally prepared. I could spend my day...

Yes... don't give up... It was crushing when i got my BFN last year after my first IVF, but I realised that there were many things I wasnt doing right and it got me on the path to be healthier. So resolve to try and prepare your body for this, both mentally and physically. Focus on yourself...

That's good news! You are getting a headstart on things. The progynova I use is in pill form. I take 4 tablets a day. I have been taking it in preparation for my FET and post FET.

I am not sure if this is the reason, but I heard that freezing is better as the blastocysts that survive tend to be hardy and your body is not pumped up with all these drugs (esp after egg retrieval). I wonder if there is research done on the success rates between fresh vs frozen cycles.

Hi Divine, I have none except for a tugging/pull or knot in my left abdomen. Boobs are so very very slightly sore. I have been hungry frequently but also dont feel like eating (hahah actually that's quite normal and not really a symptom) Beyond these, I have no symptom at all!!!! But I am...

HCG injection was ok... it's taken in the tummy area. Pessaries are capsules or bullets that you insert through your 'down there'. Not a pleasant picture huh?
