All govt hospitals are teaching hospitals. I was once admitted to KKH and had 10 training doctors come visit me together with my doctor (who is the specialist). So not entirely true that NUH you will be assigned to the junior ones, try going to KKH during night shift, you may encounter these...

My company gave us time off to see doctor. You can ask for excuse chit from Doctor if required.
