Hi ladies, I am going for my long cycle tomorrow. Only had one short cycle last year. quit coffee on first day of injection, start taking egg whites etc. Can I get advise on the diet on long cycle. Do you all start eating egg whites on the first day of long cycle (ie, Lucrine injection stage)...

Sorry for the late reply. During the appt he didn't tell me about the cycle. It's only when kkivf called then was updated its a long cycle this time. I only remember before I left he asked one Q, are u afraid of needles.. That's all..

Thanks hopeful13! Just called them, I will need to call them when menses start in sep, which means my ER / ET will be in oct then. I was on short cycle previously, not sure why this time round is long cycle.

dear bunnymuimui, so sorry to hear that. please take good care of yourself meanwhile ok.. be strong. i am still coping with the post-effect.. the AF cramps are terrible even though i am not bleeding on the 2nd day anymore.. even went down to O&G yesterday but the doctor there thinks its normal..

my review appt is on 3 june.. i probably can have one more try before i no longer eligible for the grant..

i didnt take progestrone due to bad experience in my last cycle so they changed to gel insert this time. twice a day only. (take note difference in cost is very high). they will start u for the inserts two days before ET and they told me to skip in the morn of ET day. after ET then go bck hm...

think i only went 3 scans in total for medicated FET. once lining abt 8 they will schedule ET and you dont have to go for scan already. oral med continues even in tww. just dosage reduction.
