Not sure. All i know is that high estrogen levels do relate with higher no. of follicles so thats good in a way but the higher the estrogen, the higher chance to get ohss also which is not good. Guess need to strike a balance between the two.

For me, I started with 225 and then gradually decreased. My estrogen levels were super high. During last scan, it was 20k!

Mine's quite high but i learnt to take those numbers with a pinch of salt after my first failed ivf. Just remain positive and do your best... eat more protein like egg whites! You just need 1 good embryo, think quality not quantity.

Hi Happynods, the baseline Antral Follicle Count doesn't really matter according to Prof Wong. I had 3 on each side for mine and I was worried then as it did sounded little. However, as you inject yourself, the follicles will grow. I ended up with 16 follicles at the last scan before ER. So...

Thanks Jeu. Am under Prof too but my first cycle Prof was away the whole of May. Stimulation monitoring was done by Dr Chew. Prof came back in time to do my ET and ER. I have no regrets with Prof. He gave me a lot of confidence during ER and ET and I had almost no immediate side effects...

Thanks for encouragement! I was on short protocol and retrieved 10 eggs out of 18 follicles but only 3 fertilised and 2 transferred. The 3rd didnt make it. Prof Wong says most likely bad egg quality thats why fertilisation rates was below average. He was expecting 5. I am taking CoQ10 already...
