Don't stress yourself too much. My test results was 1:25 (high risk of down syndrome). Went for the detailed test and results turned out fine.
Have a safe delivery.
When I was at the last few weeks of my pregnancy, my readings was above 5 no matter what I eat (i avoided carbo bcos that was what made my blood sugar spike). Thus, i had to go for walk after a meal to help bring down the reading.
My gynae is Dr Khoo Chong Kiat. Personally I am quite comfortable being seen by him. He is Pro-naturally too. Very positive and jovial gynae! :D
Consultation charges doesn't include ultrasound. Basically charges in KKH are all ala carte.

There are quite a bit of side effects for epidural and I have friends who went thru bad experience after taking epidural..
First child was induced. Went in delivery suite at about...
R u seeing your gynae at KKH? I was also not told of my readings when they called me but I was told high n asked me report to ODAC for one-day GD course at lvl 7

Your gynae is probably worried that your baby may be too big for natural delivery bcos many GD mom's do gave birth to bigger size babies. The scan of the size is only any estimate. May acty be bigger or smaller in size. Also if yr reading is high, baby may hv low glucose n is dangerous for...
