I'd prefer to have my kids delivered by a female gynae - though I have seen male gynaes who are also excellent and have wonderful bedside manners. For my first baby (also c-sect) I went with Dr Regina Ng (I've met her husband Chris who's also a gynae), and her stitches are neat. Had no problems...
