    September 2016 Mummies!

Hi! It sounds like it's really tiring for you. I cannot imagine myself solo caring for my toddler - and I only have one - so it must be very tiring for you. How about getting a domestic helper? At least this way, when you need the naps, you can; and it can also lessen the chores and loads for...

    pregnant after miscarriage

Ya, you can see the doctor at around 6 weeks. I had a miscarriage around Sept last year, and realised I was pregnant in Jan. I saw my gynae at 6 wks, and was given hormone jab and max daily dose of Duphaston to stabilize the pregnancy. Praying that everything goes well!

    MOTHER-IN-LAW PROBLEMS

Actually could it be the small small things? My MIL appears to be very nice and gentle to other people. But I have also witness her raising voice at her MIL (my hubby's grandma). She also appear to follow what I say while taking care of or interacting with my child, but the truth is, she...

    2016/11 (Nov) babies

Hihi! I am from Sept 2016 thread, but happened to see your comment. I am also seeing Dr Tham, and due to my previous miscarriage, they also scheduled me to see him at 6 weeks. Are you his existing patient? I think anything earlier than 6 wks, they cannot really see anything. So 6 wks would be...

    September 2016 Mummies!

Like what mummy lin0816 mentioned, Oscar will include scanning and blood test. Where would you be doing the test? I remember waiting for quite a while for mine 3 years ago; I also just went for NT scan, and also waited quite a while. For blood test, do you need to carry your child (would he...

    Expecting a twins.

It's great that you can take leave to take care of your wife! For your 9 mo, if he doesn't sleep through the night yet, you might need to be prepared to wake up to pacify him back to sleep, while your wife might need to juggle the twins, if both of you are without more help. I understand. I...

    Expecting a twins.

I agree that it might be more "cost saving" for the children to stay home, but it can also be difficult to handle a 9 mo together with a pair of infant twins. Will getting a domestic helper + 1 stay home parent = cost of sending the kids to caregivers? Btw, for your boy's childcare fees, is it...

Any recommendation for Confinement Food Delivery?

What were the complains about? I am considering TMC's food, as Natal Essentials menu seems the same as my previous confinement period.

    September 2016 Mummies!

Haha my #1 is a girl.. I think no "symptom" that helped me to guess the gender. Maybe except that my tummy was high and super round hahha! Actually I didn't get cramps for this pregnancy, until around last week (around 8 wks+). I also feel that it's quite uncomfortable. I've asked my gynae...

Miscarriage & PCOS, recommendation on Good Gynae

Hi! Dr Ben Tham is my gynae. I am not too sure about his specialisation (might be really better to see him after conceiving), but he was the HOD in KKH years ago. He is very careful and attentive for my current pregnancy after I had a miscarriage last year Sept.

    September 2016 Mummies!

Hello! I think spotting is quite a sensitive topic. The other time when I had spotting, my gynae could slot me in to his schedule and saw me on that same day when I called them. If your gynae is not available, can also consider KKH 24hr O&G. Just note that the doctors there may not be very...

    September 2016 Mummies!

grapa, I am also seeing Dr Tham! Just visited him yesterday, went in earlier because of my previous miscarriage. He was very happy with baby's growth and heart rate :) He was also very patient with me during every consultations, and he knows I am very paranoid, but still, patient hehehe.. Maybe...

    September 2016 Mummies!

Ya maybe you should take a few days off if you can! I work from home, but I stopped work for a week already because I just am very tired. The first few days were ok, I still can manage some work. Recently, I can sleep in the morning + afternoon (about 4-5 hours in total per day), and sleep...
