Hospitals may require you to try iui once or twice first before allowing you to do ivf unless you have some condition or if you are older. That is if you are planning to use govt subsidy, with private you can jump straight to ivf. So best to schedule appt first to see what are your options.

hmmm....these symptoms could be caused by the progesterones. They feed us with excessive progesterones I feel when doing ivf. So if really BFN they will ask you to stop progesterones and these symptoms should start to subside. But you dont know yet for sure is BFN! :) Fingers crossed

Interesting that your blood test is so late. I had d5 transfer previously and my BT was on 10dp5dt. I was with NUH. Anyway i started having brown discharge on d7 and AF came the day before my BT. Hope you won’t have the same bad outcome as me. Good luck!

Hi govt subsidy is 3 fresh 3 frozen. So using govt subsidy for frozen doesn’t use up one more chance for fresh cycle.

I see. Anyway PGS/PGD is not allowed in Singapore unless you have medical justifications. Do you have any medical reasons to consider it? The only person I know who did PGS did her ivf overseas and she had a lot of viable embyros so it was like why not do it.

Hi, You are right. PGD and PGS are diagnostic. You use PGD when you know what specific gene mutation you are looking. Most of us that use PGD are carriers of some genetic deletions/mutations etc. so that's the only way to go forward without risking having to terminate a pregnancy due to baby...

No worries. My husband and I know we are carriers of the same genetic defect so with every pregnancy there is a 25% chance that our baby will inherit both our faulty genes. at 10 weeks plus we did cvs to check baby’s placenta dna .

I got a final ultrasound scan to see baby at week 12. And I’m glad I did, as expected she looks like a little baby now, listened to her heartbeat one last time too. Hubby took a video of the ultrasound and doc gave us a 3D print out too.
