Did one fresh cycle but failed earlier this yr. Am doing frozen cycle and ET on Wednesday. Any idea on purchasing insurance coverage for the embryos? SGH used to have the coverage but they have stopped it.

My first fresh cycle Dr transferred one embryo. But failed. For the next cycle which will be frozen, Dr will transfer two which are the remaining ones I have in storage.

Hello there! I also have fibroid for my case. But the gynae did not say to remove it unless it gets bigger. Gynae did share with me before that u can still be pregnant with fibroid.

For SGH, less than that. They will make you watch a video with other couples, I think 30 mins. Then, the nurses will take over and talk to individual couples to share more on the IVF procedures, cost, etc. Depends on much questions you have and the waiting time for the nurses to be available...

Congratulations! Can I ask the difference between fresh and frozen? I did fresh once but failed and have frozen embroyos. What's the procedure like since there is not ER involved? Any injections required?

Yup, similar to KKH. SGH will give almost the exact dosage and ask u to come back again for scan. On the day of the scan, after scanning, sometimes the nurse will advise on much more exact dosage to take from the pharmacy. On some occasions, they will scan in the morning and ask u to come back...

Oh. For me, they will just scan and let us go. They will show the scan to the doctor and then call us later in the day to advise the dosage for the injection.

I didn't try again. But if I'm not wrong I overheard one of the nurses telling the patient cannot. Only consultation then can. Not very affirmative on this though because I ask because if I keep asking for MC very fast use finish my quota. :D

SGH gave 2 days MC for ER and 14 days HL right after the MC. For my experience, ER was not painful as you are asleep during the process. Just the needle for anaesthesia. I was feeling just like normal after I woke up from ER. But felt sick and vomited while on the way home. Was fine again after.

I did not take any emergency leave or MC during the injection period as I was feeling fine. But as the hospital requires scans in the morning and sometimes returning back to the hospital in the afternoon to take additional medication, my office needs to know about my situation. I had to report...

Personally, for me, work has no issues. Except sometimes u will feel bloated. Other than that, I have no other issues and can still work as per normal.
