Eczema, Rash or Acne.. Please Help Anxious Dad

Hi, just to share, my boy was diagnosed with eczema by dermatologist since he was 4 weeks old. Whenever his eczema flares up, it will appear to be red, patchy and warm and coarse when you gently touch it. The advice I have gotten is best to keep their skin moisturised (am using Mustela...

    Gaia products

I like their baby shampoo. It helps clear my baby's cradle cap quite alot and has a nice subtle orange oil smell.

    Choa chu kang mummy club

I just started putting my 3mo baby at Our Juniors' Schoolhouse located at ITE West for about 2 weeks+. Any mommies who have also enrolled their kids at this centre? As my boy is still very small, it is honestly quite hard to tell if he is adapting well at the centre or not. Based on teachers'...

Gynae Dr Tan Yu Fen Pamela @ KKH?

I had my first appt with her half-way through my pregnancy. So I brought all my past medical reports from the previous gynae to her. The clinic will help to make copies of those documents for their recording. During the consultation, she helped to run through those reports and other than that...

    Dr Pamela Tan

Hi! My current gynae is Dr Pamela Tan, which was assigned to me when I cold-called KKH for a gynae through the Private Suite. At that time, not much options were left as I was at Week 24 and most gynaes are already full with patients or they tend not to accept patients at such late stage. We...

Gynae Dr Tan Yu Fen Pamela @ KKH?

I am having my first appointment with her on 2 Dec. As I wanted to be admitted under the Private Suite at evening slot, the hospital arranged Dr Pamela Tan for me. Her rate will be around $130 for evening consultation. Hope others can share their experience with Dr Tan here! :) Thanks in advance.

Any good gynae in the west?

I just had my Week 20 detailed scan appointment with Dr Chia yesterday. If you are looking at normal delivery, her estimated Doctor's fees is now $2,000 to $4,500. For C-sect it is $4,500 to $6,000. In addition, there is also the daily consultation fees ($100-$200/day) and paediatrician fees...

    New job and realised pregnant....

Dear Clare Has you signed the employment contract? Technically once that is signed you should be safe from unfair/discriminating employment practices. For me, I discovered my pregnancy during the first week I joined a new organisation and I was 6 week pregnant at that time. I even went for...

    Trapped between husband and mother

I am sure everyone wants the best for the children so that at least is a common purpose between your husband and mother, it is just that every individual express their love through different actions. I think that the 'root cause' for this matter is more at your husband's end. He needs to accept...

Any good gynae in the west?

Mine is 5 March. So far have done the NT scan (Week 16) and going for the FA scan in about 3 weeks' time. To be honest, i did find her a bit stern during my 1st visit to her but gradually she seems to be more friendly. Her experience and qualification is no doubt solid, after seeing her wall of...

    Maternity & Baby Products

Baby fairs! Went to Baby's Hyperstore and Baby's Kingdom over the weekend, although they have more selection than retail stores (in terms of strollers and car seats) but find their pricing the same as elsewhere. I saw a set of swaddlers going for $50 plus and only bought at half price during the...

Any good gynae in the west?

Thanks for the detailed sharing. I just got to know that Dr Chia no longer offer package from Week 20, but so far my experience with her has been reassuring and good so we will most likely go ahead with her for the rest of the pregnancy :)

    (2016/03) March 2016 Babies!!

The last I checked with My First Skool, they will only accept registration for Infant care when there is baby's birth certification produced. In other words, they do not accept queuing for enrolment during the pregnancy stage.
