What to do after detection of pregnancy

Hi Moms,

I am a man. The pregnancy test of my wife shows positive. While being excited, I am wondering what are the next steps we should take.

Should we go to the GP and ask the doctor to refer a hospital or directly pick up a hospital and register with them? Should we call to make an appointment or directly go the the hospital?

Totally don't know what to do next. Please kindly share your experience.

Any gynae to recommend. We are living in Pasir Ris / Changi area. Don't want to go to CGH because of some bad previous experience there. Any good ones not so far away as NUH?

Congrats! You can try somewhere more central like Thomson Medical or Mt Alvernia. I'm personally seeing Dr HK Ho at Mt Alvernia.

You can do some research and ask around for recommendations. Then you should just call the clinic directly to make your first appt.

Hi I'm with dr Heng at parkway east hospital , she has a clinic there as well as at cassia crescent . U may Wana do some research n shortlist some gynaes( take note some only deliver at certain hospital) or u may shortlist the hospital 1st n narrow down the list of gynaes delivering at that particular hospital . Those who get referral are those gg for government hospital under subsidiZed rate ( u may consider if u Wana be subsidized or private)
