What herbs to buy for use during confinement?

Dear mummies,

As I am engaging my own confinement nanny, I think I need to prepare n buy herbs for her to cook for me n boil soup,etc.

Anybody can advise wat herbs to buy so tat I can buy n prepare I'm advance. Thanks

Some medical halls have confinement herb list. I took 1 from Hock Hua & 1 from another medical hall then bought the common items from both lists.
Or u can check with your CL what herbs she needs.

Hi Yvonne
U can go to Bugis (Si Ma Lu) above the hawker ctr to buy.
The price there r much more cheaper then Medical Hall n shops.
I normally will go to the shop call (Long Ma) to buy, they will be able to provide u a list of herbs u need for confinement.

I purchases a herbal package from PEM confinement agency when I had my confinement in Apr 2012.
N some is for helping in increasing milk supply . Overall is good .
