Success stories for mid 40s ?

Since more local women in Singapore bearing kids in their 40s, I wonder any success stories for mid 40s using own eggs ?

TIA ! Need inspiration/motivation. My BIL and his wife trying 2nd child. I am still struggling for a first.

I had 1st child at age 40 and now trying for 2nd. Have 4 more friends all delivered this year, all early forties. 2 of them 1st child. My colleague had her 2nd one at mid forties, IVF using own eggs. Don't give up! It's still possible.

Been thru IUI, great news from doctor. Very healthy, looking forward for multiple pregnancy. but end up, when blood test for result its negative.

then next went for IVF and with great news and positive vibes from doc, seem to have 2 perfect egg with hopes, after 2 weeks. Blood test, its negative.

40.5 hoping to hear good news from any as i just have my 1st miscarriage at 8 weeks honestly am very worried that its my last chance and maybe egg is really not good anymore.

Keep trying ba. I hear alot of ladies miscarriage but in the end still can deliver.

The body need to be 'trained' to set up a foetus environment. The lucky ones already have the prerequisite of a foetus friendly house', but for us we have to trial and error to see what we are lacking so need to 'refurbish' or 'renovate' the foetus house.

All the best to you too. Easier said than done but still need to learn not to worry too much and unnecessarily. I am also reminding myself. Learn to relax. My ex colleague who didn't even know she was preggy and carry on life as usual until she went to see a doc cos she thought she has acid reflux. Later found out she was pregnant 2 months.

I have one kin who miscarriage at 6th weeks cos she also didn't know she was pregnant. Shortly she pregnant again and deliver my cute niece.

Haha. So my point is. Don't think and worry too much. I am also reminding myself Cos it is tempting to try to spot any pregnancy symptoms all that. Just don't.

Keep trying and put it behind you. Relax and be happy. Once your body and mind is relaxed, the tiny living cells will move more easily.

Well, went for check up before doing IVF cause dont wanna have money go to waste if anything goes wrong. Well its not cheap as you know. turns out everything is perfectly fine and good, positive sign. maybe its not my time yet or maybe due to work stress, well nothing new if you work in singapore right.
Doctor told me that could go for another round of IVF, but i dont know..... cant bare with the disappointment everytime, well was thinking instead of doing another IVF, why dont i go for adoption. Save the another life.
What you guys think?

If you have eggs and ovulate, and your hubby have the sperms, I don't see why a normal lady can't conceive.

To each of her own, but to me adoption is last option when my egg reserve go to zero and I still want a baby desperately.

Well doctor respond was maybe due to aging, where im in early 40's and its high risk , next is doctor told me that 35% chances successful. Well with that said makes me kinda lose hope and felt kinda wasting time. Ever thinking of going TCM, but advise from experienced MOM they told me that it takes a long time to so called let the medication to adjust your body before you can try to conceived, and it quite costly too like few hundred per month this might go on for a year.

Despite my miscarriage, i actually think my ivf was a success. it was at kkh. the doctors delivered the result of fertilising the egg and planting it in womb. thats what ivf is.
what happens after is independent of the procedure, its up to what you are doing.

You may want to try Dr Kelly Loi if you're near Mt Elizabeth. She's my gynae and obstetrician, but she's also a licensed IVF specialist. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Dr Loi during my consults so I'm sure she'll also take care of you. Good luck on your journey!
