My wife and I wanted to adopt a child after years of trying and failed IUI. We requested for the home study report and provided the necessary documents. We were asked to come for interview. I guess being inexperienced, we did not fully comprehend the questions that were asked of us. In short, we provided unfavorably answers which gives the impression that it is only one party who wanted and the other party is supporting only. As a result, the home study report was stopped. After this experience, we want to give ourselves time to prepare properly and try again for the home study report. I want to ask if a break of 6-9 months sufficient? Thanks & Regards
