Need Part Time Assistant in Expanding Business - Sembawang AREA

Hi all

I am a SAHM running my expanding business, Kids Haven - www.kidshaven.sg full time. It is a company that specialises in the sale of storage boxes and children furniture.

I have more than 100 products under my care. Kids Haven started off as a small BP and has expanded to a full time business. I am getting busier with orders and would need a part time assistant to alleviate my work.

Here's my job requisition:

1. Stay in Woodlands\ Sembawang area (MUST)

My warehouse is located in Woodlands. I goes to the warehouse to prepare orders for packing either everyday or once every 2 days and would need assistant to be staying nearby for easy access.

2. Some basic knowledge in simple assembly

Most of the smaller furnitures are assembled by us, checked and wrapped before sending to the customers. Small furnitures refer to all items listed in my websites excluding beds and wardrobes.

Anything too bulky and complicated will also be outsourced to professionals.

Hence, helper need to at least know how to operate a screw driver. At times, we may even need to pry open the protected wooden crates to retreive the products.

3. Identification and learning to differientiate the various products is required. THis is especially so with the storage boxes. As there are many colours, sizes and specifications, it is important that the assistant is able to do so. Training will be provided on this.

3. Hours are flexible. My usual hours at a warehouse packing orders would be around 3- 4 hours once every 2 days. During shipment arrival, a commitment of at least 6 hours is required. Eg. 3 to 9pm.

Pay offered: S$7 per hour
