hi all,
i lost my baby at 22w5d last september which both kkh and private gynaes couldn’t confirm the cause. but it was likely due to infection. i googled and went to see a fetal maternal medicine specialist for advice on future pregnancies. after my second scan yesterday, he confirmed that i have a naturally short cervix at 2.7cm. he suggested that i put a preventive cerclage at wk 14. also, as i’m 36 this yr, he suggest tat i do the cvs test at wk11.5 to ensure baby is ok before cerclage.
any mummies done cvs becos u r above 35? i’m just thinking if this invasive test is really necessary and better than Harmony. i would also appreciate it if any mummies can share with me ur cvs and cerclage experiences and experienced docs for performing these two procedures..
we have just been given the green light to try again but i'm really scared...
