Chance upon this thread... I am also staying in Seng Kang, Rivervale drive. I am a FTWM with 3 kids (2 girls 9yo & 6yo & 1 boy 11mth).

I saw some of you are asking about NTUC childcare at Blk 101. My 2nd gal is currently there graduating this month

Overall, I am quite satisfied with this cc, most of their teachers are caring and delicated.

Eunice: Wow your boy not bad, can say a few words liao. Haiz don't know when my boy will open the golden mouth leh. No point stressing lor but looking forward to the day.

Wow envy you can sleep peacefully at nite. My boy will no longer wake up for milk but will cry when his pacifier drop and me got to wake up to put in mouth again. Also scare don't know when can wean him off pacifier. Haiz haiz.... Yah see their little smile our hearts melt already and my boy super clingy to dh. Will cry if the dh dont carry him. Hmm....

Denise: Thanks for the info. My boy still young so will not take those swimming lesson. Was thinking to let him go play play water. I heard that the entrance fee not cheap too so just ask to confirm hehe. Then I think maybe go on Sun evening will be better? I prefers less crowd as I dont want any kids to jump or bump into my ds as he still young.

Thank you for the info. My dd was initially under subsidised but we later changed to pte gynae coz I had a cyst. My dh was not too happy wif my gynae at sgh coz she only came to assist in delivery at the very last min and didnt even come down to chk on me in the ward when I was there for 3days...so he said might as well we go for subsidised...

Trying for a second one now, 2x didnt happen leh....dunno if it is due to stress looking aft my energetic 1.5yr dd...

Mommies, Which pte doc's pkg is the same pricing as subsidised patient? This time round dun know if I should pick a certain gynae, in sgh? We r still choosing SGH due to accessibility to my dh's workplc..

For my gynae,i intro to many ppl...my SIL had an eventful 2nd preganncy,whole pregancy keep bleeding than bb had to be delivered out via c-sect at around 35weeks due to bleeding non stop..she was under my gynae,but duw to the above my gynae ask her to go over to KKH instead of remainding with him..coz if he were to delivery etc for her & bb & her were to stay in TMC,than the bills will become super giant...NICU in TMC,the bed itself already 1k a day & haven add others stuffs...
Under private,everything go smoothly than worth it..if not might as well go under subsidy..
WA..like tat your gynae as if like those susidy pattern leh..

mine is Dr Adrian Woodworth...he's at Compass Point lor...my time package was $550..now i not sure,my boy was born Oct 07..tat time upon admission at TMC deposit was $600..now i heard it's $800..but package money can be claim,so end up upon descharge still can get back abt $200+...

Where you DH working...coz my work place at prinsep,bus 166 can go to KKH,TMC & Mt A...so not so bad if his workplace got this bus...

Oh ya..must rest more also..coz if your body & mind is too tired..you won't be in mood for anything & end up you will be even more stress up...let natural take it course..relax,take a well balance diet & also can take folic acid now since you trying to concieve...very sooner will hear good news from you...

My hb works at Cantonment, rite opp to SGH so very convenient for him to go back to work after my check up. Also coz both our parents stay in the west, SGH is more convenient for them to come and visit when Im in hospital.

Ya lor, we made a wrong choice of gynae tat time...any recommendations for SGH gynae anyone?
