Kids Dentist

Hi,

Does anyone knows of any dentist that specialist in kids? My child does not wish to enter into the dental clinic even though I am the one visiting the dentist and not him.

Thus wish to find one that specialist in kids. Those that have toys or things that can coax the child into sitting onto that dental chair.

Any suggestions & feedback appreciated.

my boy 1st visit was when he 2yrs 3mths when he climbed on chest of drawers, fell n hit front tooth into his gum ........ ended, he had his 1st consultation in the clinic's kids playroom !!

2nd visit last yr, he managed to sit thru' out in normal room with PD dentist Dr Toh and her nurse explained with detailed procedures .......

though costly fees as tt's my family dentist as TP ( aka : Dr Tay Peter ) was my retired dentist since i'm 5y/old till now 44y/old

I brought my DS to the National Dental Centre (can't remember whether this is the correct name) at HPB.

It's an open area with many booths.

So maybe your child will not feel so frightened if he sees other children going through the same thing?

i brought my kids to dental clinic at hpb. for first visit was good as both of dentists are v friendly n nice . for second and third visits was bad. my kid had bad experience with 1 of dentist there. she refused to see dentist after that.

now i stop going to hpb n bring them to NUH dental centre. my kids perfers dentists there .

I have 3 kids and so far they have been happy with our current dentist. We used to go to a dentist in Camden but after their dentist left, we had to find a new one. We found another one called Dental Essence www.dentalessence.com.sg They have a TV on the ceiling and you can bring a DVD your kid likes so during the check, your kid can watch his favorite show. It's a small clinic but we like the homely feeling.
