Joanne, I take 1 pkt with empty stomach every morning. Some took up to 3 due to ohss or during stimulation stage. Mostly load more on egg whites since it's cheaper

Urs is fresh cycle ivf.. Not fet..dun confuse woah.. So funny to call my name when write this.. Haha... Ya, stimulation we drink 3pkt to prevent bloatedness n ohss... Normal time like janice or during 2ww, we drink one pkt only..

I take vit c buy at og (which is good) to prevent fall sick (most impt) and it works for me for past three mths taking it.. As i am a heaty n easy fall sick pp..;) am getting my 2nd bottle this weekend.. Yeh.. It is sweet so very nice as hv enough pills.. I try gnc vit c pills for only two days n start feeling heaty so stop.. I take conveive well n folic for preparation to hv bb.. Sometime chicken essence too..;)

hi ladies, i m now officially in my stimulation stage : ) My scan tis morning show no more cysts. Did the stimu jab(gonalF) too. It was painless as compare to supp jab. Tis sat need to go bk for scanning and bloodtest again.

hi stickybfp, since i have no cysts, can i continue to take my royal jelly? I have stopped all supplements eversince i have cysts. Must start my eggwhite n immunocol too.

Do u hv blood clots during ur af after ocp n lucrin? Me just spotted some clots n today is already cd3..still heavy bleed..;( Feeling scare whether is this normal? Any advise?
 
Joanne03, so mine is fresh cycle ivf... no wonder i so blur when i read the fet discussion... my favourite drink is coffee... now must control my intake

blue, yup. like long protocol. but i will need to jab cetrotide after 6 days of gonalF. Continue the 2 jabs till hcg jab. My gonalF dosage is the same 112.5iu.

how r u now? still feel bloated? All the best to ur bhcg test on Fri ; )
 
Cutie: take care yah! Like what Joanne03 said, vit C is good too. I have been taking vit C and it really helps to boost my health.

Joanne03: I have finished my Cardiprin and I did not want to get from the clinic as it may be more expensive so I got it from guardian phymacy. It is exactly the same.

If I remembered correctly, I also take it during my stimulation stage. But not very long. Now I am still taking it during my 2ww.

ya urs is fresh... So got short or long protocol... So mine was short protocol... With one mth ocp the af came start i took 3days lucrin then gonalf for abt 12days from cd 5...
When u have frozen eggs, then will choose whether to do natural fet, medicated fet or stimulated fet

Joanne03, you mistaken me. Cardiprin was prescribed to me - I am told to take cardiprin during my 2ww everyday. But I have finished mine which was left over from my fresh cycle. I should be buying one more box frm the clinic. But I want to save a few cents so I bought a new box from Guardian instead.

Please don't take I take without prescription. I am not a doctor.

Joanne03, cannot anyhow take cardiprin because the medicine is to thin blood. If blood to thin, blood will continue to flow and this is no good.

hi joanne buddy, waitng for u to join me in the stims stage : ) Actually my af also alot. Today 3rd day still heavy flow. Guess is due to the cysts flowing out. I heard ppl mention bcp will cause af to be quite heavy too.

hi sun, yup. i hav been taking Dr Zou chinese med powder to mimimise the cysts for almost a mth : ) So i guess her med works for me too.
 
thanks stickyBFP. acutally i m abit scared too as my AMH is high so more prone to ohss. My gonalF dosage is 112.5iu only coz doc worry i will produce alots of follicles. Today scan already see 11 veri small follicles.
I realised tat ur fresh protocol was quite similar to mine. short protocol(gonalF and cetrotide). So anything i not understand i can check wif u : ) Thanks in advance.

Oh.. Today also ur cd3..;) when u start puregeon? Did u do e2 test again to see whether suppressed this time?

i mean urs is ok... some af due to have some clots de... becos our blood coagulates ma... dun panic... breathe in and out... is fine... different people react to ocp differently ma... some very heavy, some very light... some alot of clots some no clots... is the way our lining sheds... so no worries...
 
Hi gals,

Actually what is the different between long and short protocol? I am under long protocol and my af is last week. This week then going for my ET test. Would that be too late? Is it because of my cysts and Dr want to surpress longer? Confuse :p
 
Melodi - Not sure why Dr wants to surpress longer or if too late to take ET test.

Long protocol because of suppression stage, allows all the follicles to grow and mature at the same time. it also takes longer period as additional suppression jabs before the stimulation jabs. On long protocol, I think you start the suppression on Week 3 after AF arrives.

Antagonist (short) protocol doesn't suppress so the follicle growth is not so even, and because no suppression, needs more regular visits to the doctor for monitoring (to avoid over/under stimulation). Also supposed to be more patient friendly since shorter period (and I guess the jabs not as painful as the suppression jabs?) Doc visits not so much issue in SGP but apparently in some european countries, they don't see the doctor for 1 whole week.

For normal aged women, supposed to be not much difference between number and quality of eggs between the 2 protocols, just a more even maturity of eggs. I think in some hormonal circumstances, they also will do long protocol to ensure properly suppressed before stimming.

Thanks for explaining! Cannot said 100% understand but at least 70% to 80% :p Yes I started Lucrin on week 3 after AF arrive. Been on supression jab for more than 2 weeks already. I was confused cos seem that many ppl here are on short protocol. Anyone same like me?

yes. just went to see dr this morning. told him i wanted a cycle that is stress and jab free and requested for natural. he agreed. will transfer in this cycle. nos. not deceided yet. depend on the survival of the embryos.

hw abt u? which stage are u? sorry i got no time to read back the older posts. the thread is going too fast to keep track. btw are you with kkivf or tfc?

Melodi, i am now on puregon and seeing doc this Thurs. There was one week delay as my menses was late... so maybe now duration becomes 7 weeks .....
