I did a check on the sizing guide..
For Toddler 5T, it is recommended for height 41.5 inch (105.4cm) to 43.5 inch (110.5cm), weight is 38 lbs (17.2kg) to 42 lbs (19kg)..

For Kid 5, it is recommended for height 42.5 inch(108cm) to 45 inch (114.3cm), weight is 39 lbs (17.7kg) to 44 lbs (20kg)...

Probably you might want to consider measuring your kid against this size guide to come to decision..
