Advice needed - Newchapter prenatal multi vit during pregnancy?

Hi!

Would like to know if any mom to be here taking newchapter prenatal supplement? I understand vit is very popular in western country, but can't find it in local market. Offhand, Folate on the low side, Vit D seems very high. Most likely you'll still need calcium supplements as pregnant women supposed to take 1000mg/day. Why don't u consult your Gynae? It's a supplement, doubt it's subject to stringent regulations.

Actually I was taking this supplement 3 months before I found out I am preggie... anyway when you have your 1st checkup, you can bring along this supplement and check with your gynae... my gynae told me I can take it and when I finished the bottle, I just take the supplement supplied by my gynae.

Anyway if not wrong.. the brand New Chapter cannot be found in Singapore, not only the prenatal range.

Sdluvct, may I know why do u stop taking Newchapter and switch to the one given by gynae?

charmainebb.. if not wrong, I took it till 11 weeks or so... that was the time I finished my new chapter and started on my gynae ones.. =)
