@Siling, my af is due on 9/10 Feb. But not sure if i can stop myself from testing. I think someone has to lock up my test kits and hide the key. Hehehe. Hope to hear good news from you!

Hey our AF due on around the same day. I am also trying to stop myself from testing but now I am already testing once per day with those cheap test strips.
So far no news.My previous pregnancy I got myself a BFP a few days before my AF. So I'm torturing myself now kekeke

wolfgerlz, thats was early. I always test after 1 or 2 days past AF. Now I'm gonna to buy HPT during lunchtime and test it later. Not going to wait tonight. If its BFN, will have to try again. LOL
Keep praying hard AF will be away from me for 10month

After I seriously started looking at the dates and symptoms of ovulation, we succeeded in the 3rd month. I guess we are lucky back then. And this is my 3rd month again for our 2nd one. So hope can really get a BFP!
I went to Watson to buy housebrand HPT and tested just now. I guess I have input too much urine and exceed the blue strip as stated. It came out Invalid.... Oh my... have to re-test again later.... LOL...
Update: Tested and its BFN. I also saw some red strip when I wipe my vagina area. I guess gonna see doc soon...

Hi all, my wife and I have been reading the forums and heaps of info have been really helpful. We had our fresh ET today so the start of our 2ww commences. Wife's temper today has been volatile, hardly relaxed like what many have mentioned is important. Did anyone have the same experience? I'm not sure if it's the side effect of medication and hormones. I'm naturally worried.

Me too. I tested again this morning. I saw something unusual when I tested this morning - a ghost line when I tilted it. It didn't result in anything after the test dried up. Perhaps, I just wanted to see something... likely to test again tmrw morning.
Hi ladies, spotted red blood when wiping my vagina area. So its a BFN ... quite disappointed and am thinking of seeing TCM or GYN as I'm reaching 36 years old soon this year...
So my question to all ladies is, which is better? TCM or GYN?
If seeing GYN, what question should I ask? If taking medicine, will there be side effect? Should I see the doc after the menses or during?
If seeing TCM, will the process be slow?

Lostkitty, sometimes TCM and western treatment work hand in hand. Definitely not about which one is better over the other. You may want to access what you're more comfy with.
If TCM, you may like to consider one that is near your vicinity (residence/work place). There will be regular visits so cutting down the traveling time will be less stressful. I've been to one at AMK and I like her so depends if you're living near there.
TCM generally takes a few months to fine tune your system but then, everyone's body is different. There are ladies who went TCM for years and still don't conceive. But every avenue is a chance and you never try you never know.
For gynae, usually they have a standard set of questions they will ask you so no need to worry too much what to ask. They will then access and recommend a list of tests for you and hubby to go through. With the results, the doc will know better what treatment to fit in. Could be clomid, IUI, IVF etc.
Going subsidized or private patient, again, depends on your comfort level. Also consider the finance part too.
Try to seek medical treatment before you hit 40 as the govt subsidy is gone after that.

Hi Redvel, thanks for the advice. I'm thinking of seeing GYN 1st to access my fertility then to TCM. I'm staying at redhill and work at bugis. I have already found 1 GYN at tiong bahru and TCM recommended by ladies here at chinatown. Just that yet to see both.
I'm now really concern about my fertility and at the same time, my hubby was stressed with work for the past month. Stress part should be one of the factor...

I think it's a good start to seeing a gynae first. There are some things which I feel TCM can't pick up (say like a blocked Fallopian tube). But of course having a yin yang balance is also very important for fertility.
Definitely stress from either party is no good. But I agree it's so hard to avoid completely. Where we live is just not conducive for baby making! I think finding your own ways to have relaxing couple time once a while will be a nice touch. Good things happen when we are least stressed.

Please see a fertility specialist rather than a normal gynae. A fertility dr can diagnosie better your condition. There are many factors for bfn like block tubes, low sperm count, polyps in uterus that hinder implantation, egg shell too hard and need ICSI etc. If U are above 35 and actively trying for half a yr with no results better to seek help early. Tcm can only tiao your body. If the issue lies in your block tube, low sperm or bad egg quality tcm cannot be help.

Govt hospital U can choose kkh Dr Tan Heng Hao, Dr Sadhana. NUH choose prof pc Wong, SGH dr yu suling. Private Dr paul Tseng, dr SF Loh, dr LC cheng, dr Ann tan, dr suresh, dr Roland chieng.

Hi everyone here.. I hav been TCC for about 1 yr already. . Only a missed pregnancy in last yr feb (chemical pregnancy ) .. after that no news. . Went for body check up with my hubby in Dec and found out that the he has low sperm count... and doctor ask us to focus on his problem first...he hav been taking Megamen from GNC and fish oil for about 1 mth.. not sure when we should go start going to see fertility specialist. . Any advise. .?

Hi all, those who is from kkh, if u have chosen dr tan heng hao, u have got e right choice! My bb was delivered by him. He is kind n gentle. Very understanding.
You can consider Dr Yeong CT from tow Yung clinic too . Caring, patient, meticulous and smart. I think his success rate is quite high too since I saw someone calling him god in another forum.. Anyway I BFP first time ivf under him! So I have all the good things to say about him .. Haha but honestly he is very meticulous in tweaking your medications and scans...I guess it comes with experience .. My hubby is very impressed with him too.. Coz we spent a lot previously already on rounds of failed ivf. All up, we spent more than 100k already before seeing him.. So very lucky to succeed first time with him!

1) Which is better choice? Blackmore Folic Acid or Blackmore conceive well gold? Can it be taken during AF?
2) If going to c gynae, can i visit during AF? Must my hubby come along for the consultation?

Think conceive gold has more vitamins.. That's what a lot of moms take before pregnancy confirmed. After that can change to the normal one ..
Can see gynae during af la . But what's the reason for the visit ? If doing Pap smear better wait till af over . Sometimes with blood can obscure reading ..
Hi ttc2016 how many days ur AF late? Does it normally regular? Cause mine late for 2 days already and still bfn. Normally I'm quite accurate.

Usually quite regular, i use this tracking app and its quite accurate. But in the end late for 2 days. Last mth also late 2 days.. dont know why.. maybe stressed..
