Like my best friend she had a strong mind set not to use epidural n natural birth at 1st but then her labour was too long thus end up she got no choice but to use it. In order to retain her stamina to push. The doctor did mention that she might need to c-sect . But then luckily she manage to push her bb out so end up she dun have to c-sect.
Just in case u all wanna noe roughly the bill size. She took 1 bedded at Mount A total $5500 before medisave. So after deduction of $2100 the total cash out was $3400. Her labour was long so extra one more nite charge @ $400 plus (included in $5500).

i oso drank coconut drink at my 34 weeks onwards..once/twice per week. But i myself dun like coconut drink so I always drink few sips n pass the rest to my hb.
It's so that when bb is born, they're cleaner, no white patches like what other mummies said and not so 'bloody' too..

Hi ladies
Today on mc..started yest morn with sudden running nose..tot will get better but didn't..co decided to take mc to rest..but not my habit to take naps..so shall see how lah. My boy is so sweet..cos last night he saw me sneezing non stop so this morn, when i woke up, he asked me whether I'm feeling better..^_^

I'll still opt to go for natural, w/o epidual..unless really cannot take it. My #1 was born natural w/o epidual..not tt i hv gd pain tolerance but not in time..kekek..or mabbe my boy helped me save $$ cos I wanted to try w/o epidual 1st to see the pain level but by e time I wanted to get it, it was not in time, bb coming out then..so gd in a way cos my labour abt 2 hrs frm e time my gynae burst my waterbag...hopefully, this time round will be just as fast but less painful.

Jan-ice dear.. i was "prepared" for c sect coz i selected e date for c sect ..pain wise to me not much i recovered pretty fast coz i m sucker for pain hahaha i tot it shld b v much more so realli cannot compare ba .. i gave birth at 2341 n by 0530 I could feel my legs i started walking liao.. it was quite painful to walk then but i was so anxious to see my son so motivated ba..
c-sect u usually need to stay extra day in e hospital.. i had to go back to remove stitches on day but hehe coz no natural experience i dunno if natural need to remove stitches.. u might note tat u gotta keep ur wound dry they usually give a a waterproof plaster v big can cover but makes bathing a lil tougher for me.. 1st few days need to sit n bath.. when u remove e stitches u might hav tendency to wanna rub or scratch coz it will be kinda itchy as your wound heals..
hehe ask me more if u need to know more i realli dunno wat to share..
oh yes my frenz wore a brace/girdle after c sect as well to "hold" e wound in place i din coz i found it v warm n e pain was tolerable..

Jan-ice u dun worry so much abt ur hospital bill size at a later time when more or less confirm u okie to deliver naturally then u decide ur class.. like 1 bedded or wat.. then worry abt e bill then they will give u estimated bill size n u can ask them for emergency c sect how?

hi ixoral... i happened to see few brands of compression hose in Watsons (Suntec outlet)...but i am not sure if this is what you are looking for. it is specially for ppl going on long flights. is it the one? you can check out. but if you are refering to just normal maternity stockings, then i am afraid here don't carry. i tried looking as well but cant find. in the end i order online or you can buy a larger size from marks & spenser.

no prob ixoral...for maternity stockings, i also tried Neu look and Topshop but the largest size still look very tight at the waist. Not sure about M&S though coz i order online liao. The one i ordered has a bigger allowance at the tummy area which can cover & support...just FYI.

u know my gf said baby gal is good in a way, can collect dowry and collect red packets from those wedding tables when she got married. well its comforting to me coz i really hope to hv a baby boy. even my 2 dogs are boys too. so can u imagine my not-100%-joy of pregnancy now.
