ok. U can go n take alook. I check from net that there is always change of management. I think quite common now. But change of teachers i'm not sure. better check before u register.

I didnt check it out cuz too far. There is one more opposite Yew Tee Mrt. But i'm not sure of the centre name.

Other than that, I cant think of any playgroup in our area.
 


Jane : Musikgarten hv some centres &amp; some home-studio teaching all conducted by Certified Licensed Musikgarten Teachers.

The one I am orgaising is home studio concept (conducted by Karen) so fees are cheaper.

I am looking for contacts for or Glass/acrylic Display Box - those that are used to contain Buddha statues or other scupltures or fengshiu sculpture to prevent dust.

My sis bought the material from Bras Basah. N do it herself. Very ex. Hers quite big cost ard 100+. why dun u try bugis? Like fu lu shou, or the building beside OG. cant rem the building name, the building that sell many feng shui stuff.

Any mummies put their tod in Cherie hearts or My first skool? Any comments on these? I am scratching head where to put my tod, dun know how to start looking!
 
GG :Actually the school gd or not depending who's the principal, their teachers &amp; how they teach etc.
I know some Cherie Hearts not bad but some not so.
For me in choosing CC, distance/accessible &amp; cost are major concerns to me.
 
Tks ms tan! Ya for me am looking at proximity so it's convenient. So dat leaves me limited choices, has to be near me or my mum plc. Cherie heart near my mum plc but place looks super run down. My first skool near my plc but it means will need to put full day since I working..
 
GG : actually the difference in full day &amp; half day CC is minimal becos subsidy is smaller so I rather go for full. At least we can pick her up anytime we wat &amp; no need to worry on timings....;p

Actually we shortlist 5 but the top 3 all on waitlist so now waiting lor....hopefully can get into 1 of my top 3 choice.....;p
 
Ms tan, ya the difference is small, but I was hoping to find one near my mum plc so she can pick him earlier and no need stay in cc so long. If my plc will need mil to bring, then more complicated cos I prefer my mum than mil to take care of him so can have more say over wat he eats etc. I find my mil cooking more heavy taste so I worry .

For me is to choose either 1 very near my hse or ard my work area. Usually most of the morn, my HB can send my bb to CC then end of the day I will fetch her back so the CC must be convenient for me to pick her b4 7pm.
If my HB cant send her to CC in the morn, then must be convenient for me to send her there so as not too time-consuming 4 me in the morn.
 
Oic ms tan. Never thot of finding one near our work plc, maybe can consider also hor? Think must really find time do thorough research.
 
GG : we saw a CC (4th on our list) last sat &amp; placed a deposit for it ($50+). The CC is abt 5mins car ride from my hse.
Becos my HB said our 1st 3 choices all uncertain (on wait list) so he rather placed a deposit for a confirm place lor (get a guarantee plce).
So if can get 1 CC walking distance fr our hse (those within our top 3 choice), then he will forgo that CC &amp; go for it lor....;p

Heee....anyone know if later we dun wat that CC that we already placed a deposit can 'sell' to another parent or not ?
 
GG : but this CC I need to take bus to/fro (abt 10-15 mins ride exclude waiting time) if HB cant send her in the morn &amp; evening sure I hv to pick her up becos my HB will not be in time to pick up b4 7pm.
Heee....I still prefer the 2 on my top 3 list which r walking distance from my hse.
I also hv 1 on my top 3 near my work plce but heard my office going to shift but dunno where leh.....so my HB said a little risky for that CC.

It was a mad busy last-4-mths as I cleared my work and I am finally staying at home with my active DD. If there is any fun classes for toddlers or any gathering, let me know!

Yes, I am a SAHM now but not sure for how long. When DD goes to pre-nursery in January, I am thinking of teaching from home or just do something online. No concrete plans yet.

Now what I really need to do is to let DD run around with the other kids instead of watching BabyTV all day....Any good recommendation?

Hi Fitti, maybe find a good playgroup? I have problem finding one still so he is home with my mum all day! A bit waste of time but no choice till I can find a decent playgroup. Now he only attends class weekend.

At least u now stay home so can teach ur dd at home

Gg Lee: I am hoping to find a morning playgroup during one or two weekday/s that I can attend with DD. I have to admit that I am not a very hardworking mummy. I am best at feeding her.....every half an hour or so! :p
 


If I remember correctly, some time ago, some mummies here bought the irobot at a discounted price? Is the offer still available? Share share info please
