PD said smtime can be stone at the kidney. So must xray kidney as well. So young n must xray, am so upset over it.
even if i manage to fix a slot for 2mlr to scan, it will still take 3 days before the result will reach PD. Sianz, hate the waiting.

Ivy, let ur girl suckle more to clear the lump when it's still small la. Can coax her to slp, can clear ur lump. Bt ur girl reali slp late wor. Nw abt 12 Liao. My girl in lala land since 10pm le.. Joanna, u gg also? it depends on whether ur bb cooperates ant. If bb cries, can't do. Best let ur bb slp before go in. If ur bb cooperates, ard 10-15 mins shd b finished. b careful of a nurse call Ann!!! She v impatient!!!
Anyway, I went on the room with my bb. They will stick something to her neck etc. And also use something to cover her ear.. And a machine will detect her hearing. When the bar on screen is full, she pass her screening.

Ainsley, ivy, I got a small lump on left side again. I roughly know which pores are blocked but painful to keep pressing leh. Still got 2 'eyes' haven't open but I press until hands and shoulders ache liao. Muscle aches also starting again.
Ivy, I tried your method but I only managed to clear 2 just now in shower. I tried the tweezers method previously but maybe I pull on wrong one cos it was very painful and later the skin turn brown the next day (injury?) Sigh, so sian.

ivy, he didnt even see my baby cause i didnt bring her down.. brought no1 down for diarhoea only...i only told him she has alot of gas. so he gave me some medicine, took for 1.5 days already.. she still frets and fusses from 8 - 9 but can see her appetite improving, just now just finished 110ml n went back to sleep

now in shopping mode... not sleeping, shop online for my own cny and bb clothes.. that time went orchard shopping, so sad my top is now size m instead of s.. but got some dress can still squeeze into s size, very happy.. still got 1 - 2 kg to go to pre pregnancy weight but duno how to get rid of bulging tummy haiz CNY only 2 wks more to go, hopefully can slim down more

roxy, i went to maternalove.com and got a nursing top. I think ainsley got some clothes from there too.
Pauline, i also got some small lumps on right breast, tml morning will press in shower. Only use needle or tweezer when u see a white dot (which is milk blocking duct) on nipple surface, if not u may injure urself leh. The needle or tweezer shld be painless, unless its blister which the white dot hide underneath ur nipple skin.

Joanna, hw was ur experience with Ann? Mine v unpleasant. My bb cried cos Wana slp. She kept complaining tat she cried. Forced pacifier in her mouth though my girl rejected. Said my girl v bad tempered etc. Tats y I advice u better feed ur bb n let her slp 1st.
Mornin mummies! This mornin my hubby battle with my boy with bottle feedin wierd leh tat time my CL bottle feed no problem but now dunno why he don't want drink from bottle, anybody encounter the same thing? Wat do u all do?
Btw my Boy appetite seems smaller from 150ml to think abt 100-120ml, is it normal for reduce appetite?

Joanne, no dun need poke deep. Its a very tiny dot on surface, super tiny sometimes may not notice so sometimes pressing can also get it out, not a deep long white thing. So u use needle to just "Twinge/push it out" As if u are removing a splinter, not poke it, its more to push it out. U press ur breast 1st, make sure the white harden milk dot is on surface, then u gently use the needle push the white dot. Then u press again.
Pauline, u enlighten me. U mention "eyes" of nipple, so i wonder if cannot see white dot, if i find the eye of the block duct, will i be able to somehow press the milk lump out. So i just now use pump... cannot pump out the lump, i press to find the "eye", then i use needle to push the eye, like expand the eye, i see transparent fluid come out. (Note: when there is a lump, the milk inside usually is foremilk and more transparent instead of milky) So i press press, needle push open the eye and pump out. Left breast clear. Right breast same thing, i use needle to push the eye, transparent fluid come out, then i press.. heng this one i find the white dot, i take out the white dot.

btw do not attempt mdm lock-kiah method unless u understand me hehe. If not better to go professional mdm rokiah better, esp if $$ no issue too.

genesis.. just persistence and consistency. We use the same bottle, about same timing (1st feed in the morning when she woke up for milk, be it 6am to 8am). 1 bottle per day to start off. 1st 2 days, she totally dun wanna drink, we didnt give in. Either she drink or be hungry. Only wait till 2nd feed then i latch. So 1st feed definitely bottle. She did took very little say 40ml. 3rd day i think.. we skip cos late to go out.. end up 4th day another struggle.. 5th day ok liao. Today 6th day, also ok.
For a start, do not bottle feed urself, hide urself while someone help u to feed. ONly when bb use to bottle, then we can do it ourselves.

roxy, so good left only 1-2 kg.. I still have 5 kg to go, and i still can't fit into my working clothes. Everytime I go shopping centre, feel very sian. I really dunno what to buy. Almost a year didn't shop for normal clothes liao. I've only lost 1 kg ever since I start exercising 3 weeks ago. Don't feel like getting from BP, coz sometimes quality not that good. Any feedback on BP with good quality clothes?

nowadays my #2 wakeful hours are getting longer and longer. no longer sleep drink sleep drink liao. he spends more time looking ard and doing taiji. seems like he doesnt like bottle now... gotta start giving him a bottle a day otherwise he will reject bottle and very hard to reintro back.
sandy i stay at warren. sorry to miss the date again. coz mon - fri i kenna coop at home so wkends usually i go out like siao... will forget hee i see when my hub free maybe get him to pick from u ba
ainsley bb drink for many reasons. most of the time hungry. other reason could be thirsty or for comfort. my boy sometimes 1h after his feeding he will wanna latch again and only for a short while. i assume he is thirsty lor. but i will withdraw if i find him using my breast as a pacifier.

hi roxy, im using a single pump, the motor machiam nt wkin very well liao although i keep usin electric plug instead of batt! (p/s- my pump is already 5 yrs old).. do they jus sell the replacement for the motor itself as a spare part?
wah, u all can pump so much, the max i can pump only 3oz lei.. which is 90ml..
najmom2004, hi, u hve yet to chk my letterbox if i received the tea yet... since u got it, u try and see if its effective! cos i also wana pump 150ml and abv at a time lei! cos my bb can drink 120ml now... since i latch, i no idea hw much he drinks, so now, i wana pump more and bottle feed more... so need more milk to meet his demand.. also, latchin sometimes is so tirin, cos he is fussy with the breast, then it seems to take forever to finish one breast.. he can use 40mins at one breast only lor...
oh btw, cos im feedin my boy FM once every night, so do i stil need to give my bb water to drink? cos i knw TBF no need.. since i got mixed FM, when can i start givin my boy drink water ar? he seems to get hiccups often... and also, i see u all givin gripe/ridwind with water? my bb nt yet 1 mth old, can give? i also bought the 'jin feng san' , also hvent give bb yet cos it stated one mth old then give... btw, i also wat does 'jin feng san' dooes? prevents bb from cryin or wat?

hemmie, dont worry as you are not alone and i know it is very hard to take care of baby alone as i had tried it before when ivy is not around...however...most of the babies in this thread are coming to 2 months thus just endure for another 1 more months....most babies are quite stable by 3rd month...everybody told me about the 3rd month things (abt baby more stable) and it should apply to most babies..cannot be everybody is wrong right >.<

Ivy Lockiah, you very good leh. Next time can be LC liao. Ya cos Mdm Rokiah mentioned about the eyes too. I usually gently massage the area where the closed 'eye' with my fingertips. Sometimes the eye will open again. Last night (actually 1230am), hubby finally got time to help me massage after putting no. 1 to sleep at 1130pm. The lump seems better but need to be vigilant and make sure the closed 'eyes' don't close again, if not pain will come back. By the way, I used baby's alcohol swab for umbilical cord to clean the tweezers. More convenient and sterile. Maybe you can try?

it really isnt easy taking care of a baby!
but you will only have him/her that small only once n if you dont try to enjoy him/her then, soon you'll realise your baby has grown so big so fast n you'll miss his/her when he/she is so so little!
anyway, mummies, i have about 10 pc huggies newborn, 10 pcs fitti newborn and abt 40 pcs of pampers comfort S (up to 8 kg) to give away cos my boy cant fit into them le. his thighs are too big!
anyone lives near bedok and wants to take them from my place, pls pm me for my address?

i used to give my boy a bottle a day sometimes i feed, sometimes other ppl feed, then dunno why he suddenly rejected the bottle. cry super loud and refuse to drink.. maybe getting choosy..
Then now, i retrained him to take the bottle, in the daytime, bottlefeed, latch only at night..
have to be persistent loh like what ivy said, even if baby cry, heartpain and look at you witht he very pitiful look and asking why arent you feeding me also cannot give in.. rem baby will not starve themself!
so after tryihg a few bottles, he finally finished the third bottle.. must persist!

tried the tea last night, its tastes lik yogi nursing tea and it kind of calms you down. i woke up midnight with leaking breast, its an improvement cos i havnt get any leaking breast since delivery.. this morning i drank the tea again, after latching i pumped managed to get 2oz normally its just 1 oz.. soo thumps up for the tea..

hemmie, you are not alone taking care of baby. for example I'm also taking care of my baby alone. at the meantime handling well with him (**keeping fingers crossed**) so once we know their schedule should be ok one...

my ss is droping because of my BB! now gotta supplement with fbm(anyway i also wanna clear them liao)! normally, day time still the same, feed every 2 hrs and got one 3hr nap in between. so its like 5 feeds in the day. last feed ard 8pm and one more in ard 2am. so makes up 7 feeds only. ytd, i gave fbm for his last feed at 8pm. and he slept till 430am! break record! then 9am for next feed. i worried that he's not getting enough from latching. because of this, my ss in the day dropped by alot! and night time is engorged. i hope to feed on demand and not resort to pumping again. i kept all my pumping stuffs liao. hah!
so now i btl feed abt twice a day. ytd i gave him 130ml, one hr later, he cry for milk. so i latch. think today i gonna give 140 or 150ml..

genesis, you can make yourself occupied to prevent your mind running wild. do housework, come online(online shopping is addictive!!!), watch drama, play with bb, go for a walk.. actually i quite enjoy staying at home till i lazy to go out. weather too hot! im coping at home watching dramas. currently watching rosy business, me very slow right? this show quite long liao. btw, have u found the infant care or nanny?
im looking forward to evening cuz my mum, hb and sis all comes back. then i can take a rest.

genesis, you can make yourself occupied to prevent your mind running wild. do housework, come online(online shopping is addictive!!!), watch drama, play with bb, go for a walk.. actually i quite enjoy staying at home till i lazy to go out. weather too hot! im coping at home watching dramas. currently watching rosy business, me very slow right? this show quite long liao. btw, have u found the infant care or nanny?
im looking forward to evening cuz my mum, hb and sis all comes back. then i can take a rest.
hihi, my turn to feel down again. Crying last nite, feeling that i am not a gd mummy. Till now still unable to catch a routine for my bb cos he still wakes up at irregular hr at nite. Abt 3 to 4hrs. My no 1 also is so playful till always get scolded by me n hubby will smack him. When hubby is angry wif him, he will pull a long face n i suffer loh. He use to zzz at 9pm but not zzz only aft 12äm. Wif lack of sleep, he become more cranky also. Nowadays always want to carry. I hurt my shoulder while carrying him. Am really very tired already. Now my 2 boys cycle like upside down n handling them alone is so tough. Hubby only noe how to nag but nv even help. To him, helping to carrying no 2 to pacify him is like a big deal already. Hv to wk on fri for 1 day. Dun noe how to cope wif 2 by myself in the morning n hv to reach pandan loop by 9am with mrt n bus. Sigh. Juz by planning my time, i hv to wake up a 5.30am on that day n rush all around. Hv to rush back to pick the boys n prep no 1 dinner also. Think my boobs will also suffer fm the engorgement also.The tot of the haywire schedule 4 my boys make me felt depressed.
