me too, hahahaah 6 more days to go..... sigh, this waiting is driving me bonkers, feeling so restless!!!! i wonder which of us waiting will deliver first, dun dun dun!

manunited, as long as you consistently latch baby on demand or on a schedule, your supply will not decrease if you exclusively nurse without supplementation, that's what I did without taking any nursing tea, fenugreek, etc and I nursed my #1 till he self weaned at 18mo cos I was preg.
 
MTDT, I had to see LC 13 to 14 times. All the money I saved from FM went to LC. What is unbearable is the pain when they massage for you to clear the blockage. :p

Latched baby at 11pm, and pumped out about 40ml after that. Breasts so painful now but the 2 lumps still painful. Hope can walk into parent craft tom to ask since their hotline doesn't work on Sun. :p

I guess most of us who are still in the waiting game are those with EDD after 20th Dec...coz seems like we are either at 37 or 38 wks mostly.

i'm also at 37weeks. EDD 26th dec. my hubby coming back from overseas on 16th dec and my gynae says baby won't come out so early. but i thot generally first baby will come out earlier?
 
Hi gals, I m week 38 coming to 39, bb head not engaged, my coming gynae appt is this fri, as per last visit, bb est weight is 3.42kg, me still can walk around and still working, but dunno why my body start to feel very tired like not enough sleep. I kept having diarrhea anyone like me too? btw did u all take coconut water? Dunno where to buy leh, cannot find them

How long is your labor? Dr.Tham mentioned that he wanted to induce me when he is back coz baby seem to be big for me if i wait...
Can share with me the process?

Hi gals, me now in Week 37, baby not engaged yet too and gyane mentioned still quite high up ..if baby not engaged then will we be able to go normal delivery?
 
Twinstars, 1 week back I was having diarrhea everyday for abt a week but when gyane check everything is ok ....but he mentioned when near EDD it could be a sign that bb is coming ...now i am down with cough and flu...feel so sick..

coconut water, i heard most of my friend get from fruit stall but is the thai coconut.
 
Can I check if i were to take hospitalisation leave before my maternity leave, will it be consider maternity leave? I heard someone mentioned about something similar previously...

My feet and leg are swollen badly in the afternoon, feel like stopping work or work from home ...bb had put on 500g in a week ...afraid that it be too big for me as i am quite petite in size ...now waiting for gyane to be back from oversea to decide to induce or not

I also dunno wat will happen if bb still not engaged, then if induced will it help? If induced still doesnt help, then end up emer c-sect, then I would wanna opt for c sect straight away.
I thought shd be green coconut, thai coconut-they said heaty leh. So u taking the thai coconut? or u dun intend to take?

havent been feeling comfy since she did tt for me last wk.. *sighz*

btw, my feet are not swollen, but recently the "veins" inside both feet (toes, top of feet, bottom of feet, back of feet) are hurting me quite alot.. izzit coz bb pressing some veins which are linked to those in my feet? anybody got similar problems?
 
Twinstars, i dun think induced will help bb engaged. my gyane told me if induce failed then will end up emer c-sec which i hope to avoid ..
now got to think thru the option before next visit..

i am not sure also ...some told me that thai coconut is green too ..a little confused but i saw most coconut are thai coconut ...i havent started drinking yet ...tot of starting this week.

Cayenne, is VE painful? I havent done it yet ..will only be doing on my 38 weeks...
 
twinstars, u can get the coconuts frm ntuc.
i've been getting them frm ntuc.
usually, they r being placed near the veggie &amp; fruit chiller section.
mayb u can chk it out @ ntuc?

hve been playing mj with my mum &amp; sis for the past 2 sat nites.
was telling them now we r counting wk by wk, let's c how many more sat nites can we play mj. haha...
 
Sleek, u mean u latch him on till he's 18mth?? Power.. Lol..duno y my bb sometimes make a fuss at night. Keep looking for milk.. Continuously for 2 hrs. Bt day n midnight, she is v gd. Can slp 2-3 hrs btw feeds

Btw drinking those green coconut will not cause bb to come out early hor?
Cos My gynae not around till thurs, so bb better stay inside till fri when my gyane is back.
 
twinstars, as of last monday, gynae said my bb still quite high up... so she estimated i'll due in a mth's time. but i've heard VE will induce labour.. oso, i was told to do breast prep (for breastfeeding) n the last step is to pull my nipples... oso heard stimulating the nipples will induce labour... so i have a feeling will deliver before EDD..

yuki, VE is not painful i feel... but leaves a very weird n uncomfy feeling...
 
Cayenne, my gynae didnt said bb high up or not, he said bb head still not engaged. And his position still not the best for delivery. my gynae said bb's spine face our front tummy is the best position, as per last visit, my bb spine is facing my left side tummy.
 
Another 1 week to end my confinement...

This will be my last pregnancy, so do a semi proper one...

I didnt switch on the fan, if really hot, I just switch on the aircon..

How is the preparation for Full month?

i just came back from my gynae visit. I gained 300g and baby gained 400g, all the weight gain were by the baby. goody!

my gynae going away on a trip, back only on the 14th. hopefully I dun pop before that.

now everyday i will ask baby when she wants to come out.. and if she wants to come out tmr :p
 
ainsley, yeah we nursed till 18m, i wanted to continue thru preg but he didnt so stop lo. sounds like your baby may have slight day/ night confusion? you can try keeping her more awake in the day so she'll be tired at night, if not you can just tahan and lie down to let her latch on more frequently or longer periods at night and doze

Jo, i bought the gripe water but it can only be used for 1 mth old bb and above.

GG Lee, California Calendua cream can be used for face &amp; body but i only used on bb's body coz i scare he touches his face and cream gets into his eyes.

Justalamb-ic mine is 17 dec, so shd be anytime liao, but I just keeping my fingers cross, pls dun come out when my gynae is away.
recently bb moves a lot, but his kicks are not as hard as b4, maybe no space inside the womb bah.
Btw how big is ur bb now?
 
my bb is 2.8kg now, she gained 400g in 2 weeks. she's kicking me really hard now, and more frequently. i can feel small little hands/legs box/kick me, and ball up at my tummy for a while before releasing.

i have a muay-thai boxer baby

I think all of us.. one way of another will experience post natal blue.. juz how serious it is... and how much it can control us.. so.. need to stay positive always... and support from family members very impt..

Long while never login, been busy with bfing my bb, he is forever hungry, must feed almost every 1hr, my breast milk has just started to kick in the last 2days. How many times do u ladies pump daily? Does your bb cry pretty often? My bb has difficulties latching on, very stressed le, as he cries once he can't his milk on time; or when he can't latch. Anyone have this problem???

Has asked my Massage lady to start on wednesday, hopes she is good. My tear @ my V-area has healed, and the pain has gone. But still have pain at my spine area due to sitting on bed while bfing. Is it ok?
 
sleek... Salute... 18 mths wor.. Have teeth already.. Not pain? My baby kicked a fuss till around 12am and then she will sleep quite well.. till 3+am and 6+am for milk and 9+am and till now... I am not sure if it's day-night confusion also leh...

Anyway, anyone kept their placenta? my hubby kept and have it made into pills. the person said it's one of the biggest placenta she made. DOn't know how true.. it was made into 145 pills.
 
ainsley, which company did you go to for the placenta processing? how much?

i remember there was some discussion on it few weeks/ months back... so any other mummies book already?

I trained him since young not to bite so it's ok, he knows not to unless he fell asleep and accidentally bite then no choice, keke

are you going to eat your placenta? if she woke at 3, 6, 9 then it's normal la. if she whole night stay up and play for you, then it's confusion

went for my 36 weeks check up last week and was informed that my gal was big... 2.8kg.. gynae told me to reduce my intake.. sob sob..

Sleek, I also think that will be more convenient with no washing, preparing, sterilising, etc But don't know how long I can tahan.
For that 2 hours last night, my girl kept looking for milk leh. Don't know why....
 
Hi mummies, i need advise!! My princess seem to dislike sleeping in her cot, she prefer to sleep on my bed or in my arm recently... what to do huh??

Roxy- haha i also bath two time a day using the herds cos too hot liao cannot tahan , if didn't bath think later BM salty salty one lol. also swithch on air con baby sleep in air con also, then trap at home going crazy liao so find excuse go out buy this and check that for bb full mth, haizz mi got 2 more weeks to go.

Ainsley - you try latching her in the laying position, then you not so tired and also can sleep. my gal dun wan sleep i do it this way the she suckle till she sleep.
