ladies, so any of u going for brazilian wax prior to delivery?

i just realised tt the letter my gynae prepared for the labour ward sister, it indicated "vulva shave".. "-_- means they are going to shave me when i'm push into the delivery room? i'm quite worried abt the stubs down there + heavy menses flow + wound from episotomy... it will be really uncomfortable right?

am thinking if i shld go for brazilian wax.. but i dunno when i'm going to deliver.. so will the bush grow out by then (and ended with a shave again)? will the process of brazilian waxing (especially it's my first time) trigger labour?

any advices?
 


cayenne, gynae juz mentioned bb's head is down.
he didnt mentioned anything abt bb being engaged.
so, keeping fingers crossed.
seeing him in 2 wks' time...
hopefully, bb still not engaged then. ;p
will try to move ard lesser, coz he said tt would expedite things.

I heard a lot mummies do it ard 36 weeks.
 
i'm wk 36 now.. so i shld go waxing these few days or it will be too late? but like i say, i'm worried tt the hair will grow out when i deliver (and the nurse will shave me again) and tt it will trigger labour....

i heard waxing trigger contraction too so i'm quite worried so stop going ever since i knw i preg.
but a rough estimation, e hair will usually start to grow aft 2wks. (of cse depends on individual lar).
 
so unless i give birth within 2 wks of waxing, else the nurse may shave me again when i deliver? can i request my gynae not to shave me? *sighz* how come my gynae never ask if i wanna shave not...

my sisters who delivered at KKH said the nurses didnt shave them then......
 
cayenne and yuki - but shave too early no use liao... mi gg to c-sect on 1st dec.. tinkin of doing B wax on 30th.. hee!!

sandy - mi back again.. went to buy some dinner wif mil.. ha!! mi always active since on leave.. at work no time at all.. damn sianz..

joanna - alamak.. did you put a pillow under ur legs/feet when zzing.. will help...
 
I just went for waxing at 36 weeks and everything seems fine.
I'm currently 38 weeks exactly but the baby still not engaged. Most likely he will be overdue?

Don't worry you are not alone, I had water retention all over my body. In fact some colleagues said my face look so red like my face also had water retention. I did ask Gynae about it, he said it's normal, some mummies can had water retention and gain 20kg of weight. In fact my baby is only 2.25kg @ 35 weeks....... Heard it'll subside after delivery, lets' hope so.

Oh ya any mummies notice your armpit and breast area getting darker then before?

Wonder how does a penquin look like when they had a fall... Was jokingly telling my colleagues that I feel that I am walking like a penquin, very soon after that conversation, I had a bad fall, to protect my stomach, I use my knee to stop the impact..... My knee now full of scratches....So suay, weeks ago had serious rashes and now fall down.....

doozie, dr fong did VE on my 36 &amp; 37wk visit. mine also big bb and he say can natural. me also first time longing for the real contractions cuz i scare bb too big!!

miumiu, your fries is tempting me!! especially i saw mac seaweed fries is back!! but i just had a ulcer on my tongue..

Ya had being very careful, with that stomach think sometimes will be a bit clumsy..can't help it.

You are definitely not an alien... guess it only rare cases..... Me then is an alien i guess, let me list down why i said so....
i) Had rashes all over my body which won't subside only after delivery which already left quite a bit of scars that cannot be cover by clothing.
ii) Armpit and breast area turn dark colour, still don't know why..
iii) Had a bad fall, luckily only hit my knee, hai with scar again.. don't know how to spend my CNY with so many scar all over my body..
iv)Hope this is the last, requested to do swap test cos I suspect I might have infection when I notice some light green discharge.... Result stated not infection but something else....which i also don't know what's the medical term but it can only treated with anti-biotic during labour......

!@#$ Seems like all rare cases 3rd trimester happen on me

Initially gynae also told me it's OK with light green discharge, then I told him I am worry cos read from internet that greenish discharge might be infection. So he suggested swap test to ease my worry.

Hope all mummies have a smooth delivery..heehee including me. For those giving birth naturally, do remember to have chicken essence before going for the labour, sis told me it'll provide you more strngth to push. And try not to eat too full when going for labour.......

hi morning ladies!

My mucous plug is out! Saw it last night on the toilet paper after going to toilet; and a tiny drop of blood. Waiting the whole nite but the show didn't show up! Anyone encounter this?

Bluegal : am having the same problem as u, lotsa rashes on my arms, legs and tummy, left a lotsa scars as i've scratched myself due to the terrible itch. the areas aroung the armpits and breasts have darkened as well. Hence, u r not alone.
