just came back fr dr khi office..
within 3 hrs cervix open 1 cm..

have to take adalat and salbutamol to stop the contractions .
also given the steriod injection to strengthen the bb's lung.
Dr Khi warned that the injections pain i will not forget. true enough.
ITS REALLY PAINFUL!!
Hopefully teh medications works and the baby stays inside long enough..

Me also getting mense like cramps and wanna shit like dat. And my back a bit achy.

Equiral some got backache after having it.But for me don't have. Expect my #1 pregrancy i had backache during my first 5 mths of pregrancy. #2 til now no backache at all. Yes i do vomit when i was about to push when i deliver my #1.

Sure can! actually all bags can be used as diaper bag... im also using a normal canvas bag cause my helper is taking... only gg to buy a nicer bag to use... its only cause the diaper bag is waterproof inside and has changing pad and lotsa pockets and also side pockets at the side to put bottles hence its helpful.. otherwise any normal bag will be fine

thanks roxy...i actually bot a longchamp bag earlier to use as a diaper bag...but now heart itchy feel like getting a KS one...u have the classic noel stevie rite? u think its big enough to be a diaper bag? the size is slightly smaller compared to the other diaper bags...
 
was at TMC this afternoon for my checkup, bb has engaged, gynae has commented that he is of good size to give birth, abt 3kg @ 37wk+3days. Feet damn swollen, and having muscle ache in my left leg sorta the ache when exercise too long, anyone having this problem?

roxy : u think so? i've dilated abt 2cm since tuesday when i was admitted for sever pain at the side of my tummy. It was caused by bb kicking my intestines, ended-up stayed in observation for 1/2 day, thought will give birth on that day, and TMC has actually upgraded me to the new single bedder room on level 5 but too bad, was sent home after that as my contraction was irregular and no more dilation.
 
Yiqi, canopy, I was at ACJ clinic this afternoon too. Appt was 3pm but only got to see Dr Wong at 5pm.

Baby Raelynn is already 3kg (37w4d) so even if pop this weekend, she's of good weight. I'm only 0.5cm dilated but gynae said her head is engaged and quite low. But if she drags to next week, she'll be 3.1 or 3.2kg like RaeAnne. :p

Anyway, I don't ask for too much. As long as she tahan and let Cheh cheh recover first before arriving then I'm happy. Plan to cut my hair shorter tomorrow so that I can still tie up the back. The fringe will chop off since not long enough to tie anyway. :p

Managed to eat at tian tian huo guo today, it was the most obvious restaurant from where we parked. My ILs called hubby at 730pm cos my gal was fussing so we only had 1 round of food. :p But very happy that I got to eat it before popping. Can't imagine going to eat steamboat with a toddler and baby in tow. :p
 
pauline : ACJ is just next to TLC Clinic, i was there @ 12.30pm, left around 1pm so don't think so. your bb is same as mine and our EDD is pretty close leh, mine 07Dec, i've a feeling that i'm going to pop next week. Luckily on my annual leave liao......follow by my maternity leave starting 30Nov.

Hubby said maybe Raelynn wants to come out on 22 (Sunday) like Cheh Cheh who's born on 22 Jan. But I think it may be early next week since last time I also popped at 38 weeks plus. :p

Oh ya, I asked TMC just now. If want to 'borrow' their breast pump, must pay $35+ per day. So confirmed I'll be bringing my own pump there.
 
M/s confused, I'm not sure if you are still checking this thread. But I asked Dr Wong today about stillbirth for you and she said that it's very sad when it happens but sometimes post mortem also cannot give any answers. She once had a mummy who lost the baby at 39 weeks cos her umblical cord had clotted. When she run blood tests for the mummy then realised the mummy has a blood disorder, clotting problem. Seems like the first birth is more prone because there is no history so no reason to run extra tests. Anyway, hope you and your hubby find acceptance and peace. Be strong.

Re: Strep B infection.
Ivy, I didn't have it for no. 2 but had it for no. 1. But Dr Wong said I still need to go for antibiotic drip on delivery date cos of my history in case it comes back just before delivery. She said gynae tend to over treat mummies because it's very easy to treat then to risk having the strep B infect babies cos they'll end up in NICU ($1k per day). :p So, don't feel bad about it ya.

Yes, its tis one but black is OOS.. have ordered the dark blue one for u.. will reach in 2 weeks time... dark blue is exactly e same just that its dark blue n stripe down centre is red instead of black....from wat u say, seems very soon le!! seems like u and pauline and ainsley are all gg to pop soon!! keep us updated!

I took epi also.. no effect for me at all... no vomitting or shivering but now i easily backache when preggy no 2... no such ting for no 1, not such is it due to the epi or im just old

canopy, i oso hve the muscle ache prob for both calves since a few mths ago.
i was wondering if it was due to leg cramps which i didnt detect when i was sleeping... ;p
but was thinking cant b, since the leg cramp pain is so bad, i would hve waken up by it, so still wondering why...

definitely, swollen feet is another prob.

i hve been experiencing tt recently.

yeah i also experienced breathlessness. in fact im experiencing it now. haha. like when i walk a bit faster then will start to pant abit..

linglee, i'm having the breathless problem since late 1st trim... i tot i'm too weak tt's why... :x

btw, i think taking calcium supplement (or warm milk if you prefer) prior to bedtime will help leg cramps in the middle of the nite.. works for me so far..

canopy, my 2nd sis told me that if the feet swollen (not like the usual we had in earlier 3rd trim), then most likely will give birth in a wk's time...

But thank goodness nothing happened to baby. Just put on a drip, that's it. 2nd one, I didn't test, but my gynae said, just put me on the drip to be sure. Sometimes it can also turn out as false positive.

I don't have swollen feet problem but swollen fingers.. Very stiff when I woke up in the morning..

GG, I just wash my bumper as per normal leh. Can't wash meh?

small dreams, i'm delivery in ESH..nearer to my place..is this your 3rd pregnancy? were your previous babies delivered by him too? cos so far he didn't do any swab test for any of my pregnances..maybe should ask next checkup..
 
GG, Roxy, This morning, stomach crampy and back aching. Was so worried that it is it. But after taking a nap and a few rounds of going to the toilet, felt better. False alarm. Phew! I haven't even cut my hair yet. :p

Roxy, haha, initially I was hoping baby will come out tomorrow, 22 cos Cheh Cheh was born on 22 Jan. But my gal still coughing though no more fever. Also, I think tomorrow not good date right since your shifu never choose that date for c sect?

Roxy : thanks for help me with the bag, has transferred 95 into your acct, please check, most likely i've given birth by the time the bag is her but no hurry as the KS bag is a spare one, i've a Coach baby bag which i've bought from states before i got pregnant. Probably will need u to courier or like u said, meet @ TMC or i'll ask my hubby to pick it up from u since we r staying not that far apart.

GG : I've washed the bumper using washing machine as well, it looks ok after the wash, not out of shape.

Cayenne : yup, my feet r super swollen now, toes become tiny small and can't find my ankle! The sole is super painfully, can't walk far now. And my V-area is very painfully these 2 days, as if there's a cut.

Ainsley : my hands are now swollen but numb and have no strength. =(

Pauline : maybe we will give birth the same time, and meet @ the observation ward! =p

were u at tc chang this morning? i was there from 1030 - 1130 cause of abdominal cramps...tc ask me to go down but its not labour pains, far from it.. my cervix still closed and head very high up.. he says if head dun go down, i prob csect haiz.... my cramps is prob due to bb trying to engage into cervix but unable to do it... were u the gal wearing blue?
 
Roxy, I did check online for 23 nov vs 22 Nov. Seems like 22 Nov missing the fire element whereas 23 Nov got all 5 elements so considered better bah?

Candice, yup, got to do it cos I already had it for no. 1. But heng, this time test is negative.
