i hv been lying on the MAH since fri...

yesterday want to get up to bath, i hv muscle cramps on my kneel..

doc ask my hubby to massage my legs bcos no circultation.
 


Rain, I had my hernia removed cos it's irreducible. Ur case sound serious.... You better listen to whatever the doc says and eat more nutritious food.
 
i go toilet sit on the toilet bowl and the blood just chiong out.. alot....lcukily still can dong until the gynae clinic then he send me in to MAH. then contraction starts every 1-2mins.. i was put on drip to stop contraction for 1 day and 1 night...
 
so scary... so sudden...

Scary leh Rain. So it just suddenly happened like dat? Did you bump against anything? Doctor didn't explain why placenta suddenly damage? Yeah, better take bed rest at home.
 
hi ladies,
I had bad heartburn (like gastric)ard 7pm. I tot normal heartburn so just take citrus drink which KKH used to give me, but it has gone worst...
When I lay down I can't turn right or left position.. have to be sleep upright... In the end cant tahan have to go 24hr clinic near my hse.. But doc said if within 4hrs still have problems go to KKH.

I was lucky, took medication within 1hr, I vomit back all the watery gassy stuff.. Vomit couple of times then finally can sleep for... but 3hrs later, my babies start to move ard cause hungry did not had dinner since I had bad heartburn..
Wake up I drink hot milo sleep again and report to work ard 9.30am...

But I had bleed nose when I woke up...

First 3mths of pregnancy, I have no morning sickness but now 4 mths coming to 5mths.. I've got UTI + fever, now bad heartburn + bleed nose...

Just hope all these will gone soon....

Pls dun worry n listen to ur gynae.. bed rest is very very impt.. our babies are more impt than work... for no 1,i had 3 times serious bleeding, turns out my womb had blood clots... hospitalise a few times but after bed rest, manage to carry bb safely to full term..for this no 2, also had bleeding due to placenta detachment, also put on HL and bed rest.. praise god, so far so good....so bed rest is really very very impt.. u must listen and stay at home to rest.. not even allowed to walk around your house...
 
I tink your placenta is not damaged if the bleeding confirms comes from the blood clot around your womb, then placenta is fine.. if blood comes from placenta, eg placenta detachment or abruption then prob placenta might be damaged but it will heal itself also... which was wat my gynae told me and he also told me dun worry... so u dun worry pls...
 
Chantal...yeah, yesterday was 1st time I see also although I feel from 17wks..But must lay still and see from eye level with belly

Juliana, pls take care yeah...I think nose bleed is common from 2nd tri cos of the extra blood flowing in us..about 50%more and urs are twins somemore. I recently also sometimes kena MS feel again like wanna puke.
 
All mummies, I'm still resting at hm after the fall. Kneecap so badly swollen &amp; inflame and it hurt like shit. Check on bb and it fine, thks gdness.

Sporean can definietly be ungracious. When i fall at the carpark carrying my boy, those young couples &amp; families juz walk past us leaving my hubby trying to carry my boy n pull me up as well. And all they did was point n stare n said "O.. she preggy"

I have yet eaten my dinner yet when I kena my heartburn.. I guess during 3pm my colleague offer me LAYS potatoe chips, and give me handful of the LAYS.

I guess to much of it cause me heartburn..
Now I have to stay away from potato chip, chocolate and whatever snacks...

Last night was my terrible heartburn...
 
Rain, yah do listen to your gynae's advice. Just rest at home and don't go to work. Baby is most important now.

The blood clot will heal by itself slowly most of the time, thats what my gynae said. I also had blood clot previously but with plenty of bed rest, it heal by itself.
 
canopyhaze, quinny buzz (around 10kg) is quite heavy rite? that time i am quite tempted to get quinny buzz too but my friend advise me not to get cos the seat cannot be incline. in the end, i bought a maclaren quest (5kg). that time when i when to buy maclaren, the sales ask me not to buy combi cos it's very lightweight and the stroller will topple. i ever see a combi stroller topple to the back with a baby sleeping inside.
 
My DS got reschedule to mid aug ler.. cause i juz saw my gynae yesterday after the fall. So he feel tat i shldn't c him so early since everytng is fine. Sigh~~~~~~

anyway, i hasn't gain a single weight again. Im already 18wks and till date i onli manage to gain less than 2kg. Is this happening to any1??
 
iris : the quinny buzz is 12kg, but i still can handle. It doesn't feel so heavy at all tho' it is 12kg, and it's very easy to handle. The seat can be recline. the model which u have mentioned with the seat cannot reclined is not quinny buzz, it is quinny zap which cost less than SGD400.
 
gosh, a lot of us is having problems these days.
last evening i was having a drop of blood, but can't find anything today. hope nothing is wrong.

Glad everyting is ok with u now.. so envious u gain so little weight, i already put on 7kg.. dun dare to step on weighing scale anymore, so demoralised everytime i step on it..

I dun tink your gynae is bluffing you.. maybe u can ask him does the bleeding comes from the blood clot or from the placenta? If its from blood clot, no reason why it should damage the placenta... for my bleeding 1 mth ago, my gynae showed me very clearly the area of bleed on the placenta...

Yes, u are right, combi very lightweight n bb will topple easily... but really depends on your needs.. i find lightweight easier to manage when i go out.. but another downside is bb outgrow the stroller super fast... my DS now only 14 mths, the stroller abit too small for him le and he's considered quite small built

Maybe get a few strollers? I have 2 lightweight ones and 1 heavy weight one (maclaren techno xt) for me to see which occasion suit which stroller.. but do bear in mind that the maclarens cannot fully recline down, so not suitable for newborns till 3 mths... by right the xt can fully recline, but i also find not really flat, there's still an angle, not so good...
 
iris : oh yes, there's still one more model for quinny, it's called quinny speedi, which is slightly bigger, weighs abt 16kg, u will see a lot of ang mohs go jogging with their bbs in it.
 
canopyhaze, actually i like quinny speedi but too heavy. i cannot carry my baby in 1 hand and open/close the stroller leh if the stroller is too heavy. cos actually i got a capella S705, it's 8.5kg and i find it very heavy liao that's why i went to buy another stroller.

roxy, combi strollers are a bit narrower rite? i also prefer lightweight stroller.

so far i put on 3kg liao

i need to rant abit leh. super sian at work. GM talk to me this morning ask why i never work OT when everyone is working late everyday. i told him i bring my work home and do and he say no one can see that and i need to stay in office to give moral support. haiz... siao rite? if i work late everyday and even on weekends, my boy will not recognise me liao cos he sleep from 7pm tp 7am everyday. i told my hubby i will 'ren' till i pop and will resign after my maternity leave.
 
iris : Quinny speedi is selling abt SGD800 now i think, but still think that it is too bulky, we actually prefer quinny zapp as it is compact &amp; weighs abt 10kg and it is much cheaper, but since it can't recline, we have decided to go for the quinny buzz. =)

By the way Josephine, the combi stroller (4.9KG) meant for 0-24months are narrower. It is at SGD$239.00

Talk abt graciousness, Sporean fail already. Imagine, me as a pregnant lady, need to give up my seat to an elderly.

Stroller... I have a preg prego p3 and a macleren volo. Use to have a XT but sell away and get preg prego. Both are good and smooth. But I keep abusing my pram one. So XT is not so stable and topple over easily. Oreg is good. Can hang things and is stable. For a pram, good to get a better one as can reuse for no 2. My sis got a normal capella one for no 1 but now like want to spoil. So end up have to get another one. Quinny is good but find it hard to push on escalator cos 3 wheels so I never consider.
 
jo : Source around, me &amp; my hubby have done some research and gone to kiddy palace, mothercare, baby kingdom, baby hypermart &amp; baby avenue last sunday just to look for stroller &amp; cot bed, and we have set our eyes on the quinny buzz after testing it by moving it around the shopand trying out other brands, the sales man even demostrated how to fix the infant carrier onto the car seat. After testing, we still think that it is the best. Go and try some of the strollers out at the shops, you will have an idea which one u want.
 
Lileen : there's 4 wheels for quinny as well. All front wheels (whether is 3 wheels or 4 wheels) for the quinny and rotate 360deg, so quite easy to move around.
 
lileen, true hor... 1 wheel infront i sure dun know how to push on a escalator. guess safer to take a lift if using a 3-wheel stroller.
 
Rain, u got to rest, the baby will be able to survive under Neonatal once bb is 24weeks at least. MAH NICU is quite good, they have good neonatal care and PD care there.

Jo, i can feel how u feel, i just snap at a china aunty just now, for blocking the train door. Pple havent come out, she wanna rush in to sit, but chinatown towards harbour front so many seats, why she so kiasu i also dunno. I talk in my loudest voice, but i forget to say in chinese "Cannot let pple out 1st is it".. damn.
