mummies, how much time did u take to complete DS? just did mine last week in 2 separate sessions, each lasting 3 hours as bb veri shy. his face and front body was facing my backside all the time...
veri lazy baby, doesnt want to shift his body, only wants to move his hands and legs

hi fitti and ivy,
I had hard stools with blood too. tried cut down my carbo and replace dinner w veg and soup. this has helped to relieve my constipation (see effect after 2 dinners, my stool is soft). had done this as fruits and water do not seem to help. hope this tip helps

Anyone attending Mrs Wong class in Oct? I was told Sept classes all fully booked...still trying to decide if i shld go as my hubby will be oversea during that period of time and i will be attending alone. Anyone know how big is the class size for Mrs Wong?

got to see baby longer and it was farnie to see him moving hands and legs 'rapidly' as the sonograhher tried to 'provoke' him with probe to make him shift to face screen..think sonographer oso gave up

mummyfel, hiaz, my gal very slim but PD said 50th percentile leh, so nothing to worry about. I wish she can be a bit heavier too cos she not 'bah bah' at all. :p
 
rain, the carseat will be using the car's seat-belt, so it's quite ez for the kids to buckle &amp; unbuckle on their own.
in fact, they prefer the buckling to the infant/toddler carseat's ones.

mummyfel, it comes with reading light too.
so, initially, the kids were quite excited over the light.
they kept switching on &amp; off, until i told them tt i m not gonna replace the batt when they r flat.

any idea which brand of milkbags is gd?
colleague recommending blue egg from korea(bag can stand by itself, selling $8+ for 25 pcs) and lansinoh frm US(nid to lay flat,selling US$8 for 50 pcs).

my ds is super long too.. As the babies not co-operative.. took 3 to 4hrs too... I was asked to walk2 till baby nose, nasal and heart can be seen.. But since the girl not co-operative, I was told to do re-schedule scanning.
Lucky this time the girl has been co-operative.

I tried blue egg before, personally i dun like it... no doubt it can stand, but all the milk gets accumulated at the bottom, such that when u freeze it become a big "ball" very difficult to store n take up alot of space.. lansinoh will be good but its exp... im using boots milk bag.. can store flat, double zipper and cheap...
 
rain, there's a latch to hook the car's seat-belt to the carseat. it helps to position the seat-belt.
i dunno if tt's wat ur fren is referring too.
dun remember seeing any lock.
it'll b gd if u can go to the store to take a look @ the actual carseat.

i think the scanning was done using that ultrasound pen which need to press to ur tummy..
They cant be using transviginal scanning now...

The 2nd scanning they use a special scanning like 3D which can even see the even if they are not in proper position.
 
Re: Car seat
Think I will still get a normal toddler car seat for my #1. Will get another Britax. She is 16 months and is only 9.5kg now. I reckon should take quite a while before she hits 13.5kg as weight gain is very slow for kids this age.

milk bags - last time use avent milkbags. cheap.. 100pcs for $10 i think. but stop production liao.

tis time - getting my fren to get from bkk boots too :p
 
juliana, i had to go for another scanning tis thu too.
when i went for the scanning last thu, bb was still not cooperative even after an hr plus, &amp; they couldnt get the measurements of the features, so gotta go for another scan tis thu.
 
Hazelnut, I also dunno which one good but seems the review on lansinoh not bad. Bot one packet from a fellow mummy to standby first. Anyway hospital will give glass bottles and can use for storage too..they say boots good also..from thailand..

Hi all, any comments on whether Avent steriliser or pigeon steriliser better? Was thinking of the Avent IQ steriliser/ Avent microwave one/ Pigeon rapid steriliser. Any idea the pros and cons? Which one better? Or really easier just throw into water and boil 10 mins?

I started buying all the small small stuff..like pads etc...got the sofy 35cm ones..realised quite a lot of long long heavy duty ones now..sofy has up to 40.5cm, laurier also has 35cm ones. Kotex has stick on (no need loop) maternity pads..but quite ex..$6 for 10pcs..

i went re-scanning on the 12th August09. My next detailed scanning again during my 25 weeks &amp; 30 weeks..
This 10/09/09, I will be doing scanning and see doctor again.. worst part is my scanning is at 8am very early...

gg lee: Wah u so fast. That time I got myself many maternity pads too, then end up c-sect, never bleed so much and bleed only few days hehe. Gave away all my new pads.
