床的底版有3個高度，最高位置適用於 六至七個月以下的寶寶，此高度亦方便父母無須過度彎腰才能抱起及放下寶寶。
當寶寶已達七個月以上，或可以自行站立時，父母便可把底板放至最低的位置，防止寶寶攀越床閘。
當寶寶兩歲左右，可將一邊床閘拆掉，變成兒童梳化床，訓練兒童自行上落睡覺及起床。
