    November 2017 Mummies

Hi parents, I'm also a November mum. I'm letting go of a post natal massage package, at $300, below the original price I reserved it for. Please contact me via private message if you would like to know more about it. (I'm letting go due to personal reasons, I would have loved to keep the package...

    Help! Gynae dilemma!

I am actually with Dr Choo and I like her style. Really sorry the timing might be bad for you, but I guess everyone deserves a break from work and that definitely includes our doctors :) I have close girlfriends who were with Dr Goh and delivered at Mount Alvernia. Looking at your preferences...

If you don't have much issues with weight, generally you can eat or drink with moderation. Do check with your doctor. Milo is a good comforting drink, just don't overdose.

Might not be too hygienic. Such types of seafood are easily the most polluted types.

Brown discharge is old blood so if it's a spot I wouldn't worry too much about it. As for cramps, the same advice if it's not causing you great pain. Try your best to sit down and rest.

At your comfort level I guess. Personally I wouldn't get my hair dyed or any chemical treatment because I wouldn't be able to sit for long in the salon. Either Morning sickness / when the tummy gets bigger, it's very uncomfortable. Different smells in the salon, might slip on the hair on the...

I would go with skincare that is as simple as possible. During my #1 I stopped things like essence and things with collagen etc. Just basic wash, tone, moisturise.

I got discharged from KKH for hyperemesis gravidarum. Now on metoclopramide and vitamin b6 to control nausea and vomiting. I find that vitamin b6 in the morning really helps me. I was also given potassium pills... Sigh! Have to tough it out for a few more weeks...

In my other mummies group, there was talk about how the Oscar test has a higher incidence of false accuracy and might cause false alarm. Seems as if people are opting for other tests. I'm not sure if there is any latest feedback on this from the obgyn?

Hello mummies! Sorry I'd just like to check, are there 2 November mummy groups? I read through the messages and it looks to me there are 2 chat groups / Facebook pages. Just a bit confused.

I'm currently in KKH. Admitted for severe dehydration due to hyperemesis gravidarum (excessive vomiting). If there are any mums suffering for a few days please don't hesitate to get it checked out at the hospital.

    November 2017 Mummies

I had this experience with #1. Hope it won't repeat. Every mum's experience is different but nausea is common. If it persists and you become faint or dehydrated please go to the doctor's. Some people get much tougher symptoms.

Where is your obgyn located? Maybe you need a second opinion? I would recommend you my obgyn but she's on holiday this week and I think you need to see one immediately for a second opinion. Alternatively maybe you can check at KKH. Take care!

Welcome! Yes you can start searching for your preferred gynaecologist. If you call this week, and based on your calculation of 4 weeks, you should be able to arrange an appointment for week 6 or so. That's a good time because by then the fetus heartbeat should be detected. Don't worry about...

If you are really very uncomfortable or in great pain I would say please go and get it checked out. Maybe you can be prescribed painkillers safe for pregnancy? You can also check for any other reason for the pain (might not be pregnancy). Take care!
