The tried and tested shop for many years has been Long Ma at basement of Fu Lu Shou. Prices are cheaper than elsewhere and the herbs quality is very reasonable. Because the shop is very popular with old aunties, it can be intimidating for younger folks who are clueless about Chinese dried goods and herbs since you do not get very personalised service. Just go with a list of stuff you want and they will gather for you. But it is still the place I head to for dried goods and herbs for confinement. Can be super crowded on weekends. Can bargain especially if buying a lot.
