Hi poppy, i didn't gain weight in my 1st trimester as i had very bad morning sickness. in fact i lost about 3kg. i gained weight slowly in my 2nd trimester and more in my 3rd. i think most impt is to eat nutritiously. if u have morning sickness then just whatever u feel like!
