Dads and little men, you’re not left out. There are beautifully constructed shirts in weather-friendly fabrics and handmade Chinese frog buttons that’ll add a dapper flair to your look. To make the Tiger year extra special, some even offer zodiac or surname personalisation for a one-of-a-kind outfit!

Named “The Great 虎at!”, Maison Q’s 2022 CNY collection bursts with all the colour and joy of the festive season. Eight exuberant prints in over 20 silhouettes means there’s something for everyone in the family. We love the reversible onesies for babies that make it easy to switch looks on-the-go, as well as the prettiest flared sleeve cheongsams for girls. Twinning with the family looks really good with Pocketpig Diary’s CNY 2022 collection. The prints are bold without being overpowering, the colours are cheery, and the cuts (especially for women) are forgiving. This year’s collection marks the brand’s first CNY range for adults. The visits are done, the snacks have been eaten, and the appetites are satiated. It’s time to snuggle with your little ones and settle down for the night, and we’ve found the cosiest, comfiest, PJs to do that in. They’re from the Je Dors Collection by Rawbought, and use breathable and buttery-soft modal from beech tree pulp to caress and comfort even the most delicate of skins. The kids’ collection comes in sizes for 18 months to 10 years in Rose, Insignia Blue, and classic Black, and feature the same signature Je Dors modal piping, open collar and chest pocket to match mum and dad’s. Available online, at Society A, and Siri House (men’s and women’s only)

Lace, peonies, lion, zodiac, and sakura flowers are blooming at The Elly Store this season. You’ll see them on cheongsams, mandarin-collar shirts, dresses, and even onesies for the littlest in the family. Themed ‘The Little Things’, this CNY collection celebrates details (how apt because if there’s one thing the past two years have taught us, it’s that little things matter). From bursts of joyous colour to whimsical tigers and delicate lace designs, there’s something here for every style. Additionally, for the very first time, you can personalise your outfit with your zodiac animal or your Chinese family name! Available online, at the flagship store at Cluny Court, and these stockists

UNIQLO

Our favourite brand for affordable and stylish staples goes big on wearability this festive season. Instead of glaring red packet colours, there are calming wheat neutrals and muted dusky blues. For women, cotton shirring sleeveless dresses and linen blend camisole jumpsuits ensure all-day comfort and complement the girls’ printed dresses, while dads and sons can match in checks. Even if you prefer to go in traditional colours, it’s easy to pick and match throughout the store for everyone in the family (see below).

Finally, for a quirky take on the season, check out the UTme! Collaboration with The Woke Salaryman, which is available exclusively at the UNIQLO flagship store at Orchard Central. P/S: Need some style inspiration? Tune in to the Live! With UNIQLO livestream on 20 January at 6.30pm on @uniqlosg Instagram.

Yi-ming

Why take a photo of the Old Hill Street Police Station building when you can wear it? The rainbow-hued building and other local icons take centerstage in HK designer Grace Choi’s ‘Singapore Swing’ capsule collection, which blends culture and heritage by placing fun quirky motifs of said icons onto chic cheongsams and oriental-inspired separates. Landmarks like Marina Bay Sands, the Merlion, and Gardens by the Bay also make an appearance on these stylish conversation starters, as do our UNESCO-repped hawker centres. For little ones, there’s a Disney collection as well. Available online and at SocietyA (Ngee Ann City) and Yue Hwa Building (Chinatown)
