10 Memorable Things to do with your Mum this Mother’s Day 2023

So you’ve booked the feast, and ordered the cake. The card is made, and the flowers are on their way. Now that the giving part is sorted, how about doing something special with mum this Mother’s Day 2023? You could attend a concert, participate in a mother-child sandwich making contest, design a tote bag, go for wellness workshops, and even pamper her with a staycation that comes with complimentary mani and pedi sessions – just for mum.

1. Watch the SCO Mother’s Day Concert

Serenade the Queen of home and hearth with heartwarming favourites at this special SCO concert. Under the baton of Principal Conductor Quek Ling Kiong, SCO and Xinyao veteran artist Alex Su perform favourites such as Cloud River, Cloud of Romance, When You Are Old, All Mothers Are Alike, Shining Days, In That Faraway Place, Memories of Youth, and a medley The Past Can Only Be Remembered. There’s a post-concert autograph session with Alex So too.

2. Yoga and a Sandwich making contest at The Polliwogs

Children go to The Polliwogs for play and fun times. Similarly, on his Mothers’ Day, mums get to play too. Mothers enjoy complimentary entry (for every paying child) and a 45-minute yoga class at The Polliwogs VivoCity on 14 May, led by fitness trainer Elise Teo.

In addition, mums and kids can get hands on together and decorate a sandwich in The Parental Palette (13 May at VivoCity, and 14 May at Clarke Quay). There are prizes worth over $200 to be won! Contest participation is free upon purchase of an entry ticket.

3. Enjoy Mummy’s Day Out! at Lifestyle@SingSeeSoon

Honour mum at Lifestyle@SingSeeSoon’s ‘Mummy’s DayOut!’ this Mother’s Day. Held in a floral zen oasis, the variety of activities and workshops are curated to empower and enrich mother-child relationships. Get downward dogging together, design an edible bouquet together, paint a tote bag together, enjoy a massage together… And after all that pampering, you can also pick up some gorgeous blooms for mum to bring home.

5. Play Real-life Roblox with your kids

Are your kids addicted to Roblox? Why do games attract our kids so much? This Mother’s Day, venture into their digital world to find out. Different Roblox games have been redesigned into real-life games for mum and kids to bond over. Choose to be in the same team, or pit yourselves against each other. The goal is to create a memorable experience together to commemorate this special day. Each session packs in 2.5 hours of fun, strategy, and laughter in both air-conditioned and sheltered outdoor play areas. 6. Cook for her with Prepped Mother’s Day Meal Kits

10. SSO Mother’s Day Concert

Pack a picnic dinner, and give mum the gift of music at the Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s Mother’s Day Concert at the Botanic Gardens. Mum can still enjoy the music, as the concert will be streamed live on the SSO YouTube channel
