The Esplanade’s Mother’s Day Special: Songs for Mothers with Love is hosted by the bubbly Lee Peifen, and features established singers Anddi Goh, Jessie Yeong and Coco Xian belting out well-loved Chinese hits from yesteryear by Zhou Xuan, Teresa Teng, Qing Shan and more. 30. Heal with Sound Energy

We tried this once and it was a revelation. If you and mum are gung-ho for new experiences, why not try it too? This year’s SSO Classics in the Park − Mother’s Day Concert presents colourful dances and songs of love. This one-hour musical celebration of motherhood features a cast of all-Singaporean talent, with young violin star Chloe Chua, and singers Jonathan Charles Tay and Martin Ng performing excerpts from Bizet’s Carmen, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, and Verdi’s La Traviata. 33. Explore a Farmer’s Market in the City

Is mum a farm-to-table chef? Bring her to Sprout, Singapore’s largest farmers’ market in the city.
