June School Holidays 2023: Fabulous Fun for Kids and Families

If you’re wondering how it’s possible that we’re almost halfway through the year, you’re not alone. In fact, the June school holidays 2023 begins on Saturday, 27 May! Are you packing the month full of tuition classes and enrichment lessons for the kiddos? Before you know it, it’ll be Sunday, 25 June and the term break will be over. 5. Experience Summer in Bloom at City Square Mall

Paint It Forward at The Children’s Festival 2023 Malls of Frasers Property

The Children’s Festival 2023 aims to promote inclusiveness through community activities across Malls of Frasers Property islandwide. Co-create a canvas of inclusivity in Paint It Forward art jamming sessions across 10 malls. You’ll receive painting kits with specially created canvas outlines inspired by persons with disabilities behind NDP2020 to 2022 art collaterals. For every participant who registers, Frasers Property will donate $10 to the Mediacorp Enable Fund. Each piece of artwork will come together to form a Community Canvas Collage at the conclusion of the festival.

The annual Children’s Season invites young ones to explore different occupations in past and present Singapore, then discover who they want to be in the future. With unlimited imagination, they may even think up a new job or role that doesn’t yet exist! Dream up futuristic cars at Singapore Mobility Gallery, reinvent Cinderella as a Nyonya at The Peranakan Museum, and make 3D paper sculptures at Children’s Museum Singapore. Finally, participate in hands-on comic art workshops and collect stamps for your Children’s Season 2023 passport along the way.

The highly anticipated National Gallery Singapore’s Children’s Biennale 2023 opens on the first day of the June school holidays. Besides exploring 11 new artworks around the theme of ‘Let’s Make a Better Place’, plenty of opening activities await. Catch Voices of Singapore’s children’s choir, explore sound with LittleCr3atures, and participate in fun-filled interactive encounters by Five Stones Theatre. There are also lots of craft workshops and drop-in activities to look forward to.

16. Catch a Breathtaking Acrobatic Performance in HUMANS 2.0

Remember the Australia-based circus performance group, Circa? They brought us Carnival of the Animals, as well as Shaun the Sheep’s Circus Show that runs till Sunday. Next month, they’ll also show us what it means to be human. As part of the Singapore International Festival of Arts 2023, HUMANS 2.0 is suitable for children from six years. It’s a great opportunity to expose your offspring to a rich blend of acrobatics, dance, theatre, and circus, while inspiring them to push beyond their own limits. June is always a fun month at The Polliwogs, and this time’s no different.  On 10 and 11 June, Dumpling Chronicles marks the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival.
