June School Holidays 2023: Fabulous Fun for Kids and Families
If you’re wondering how it’s possible that we’re almost halfway through the year, you’re not alone. In fact, the June school holidays 2023 begins on Saturday, 27 May! Are you packing the month full of tuition classes and enrichment lessons for the kiddos? Before you know it, it’ll be Sunday, 25 June and the term break will be over. So do set aside some time for guilt-free playtime and quality family bonding, won’t you? After all, there’s all this fabulous fun to be had around town this June!

2. Get Your Game On with Edgar Plans
One of today’s hottest ultra-contemporary artists, Edgar Plans, visits Singapore for the very first time as part of the Game On Global Tour. After slam dunk seasons in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong, the one-of-a-kind interactive experience comes to town. 3. Be Amp-powered at The ELECTRIFIED Show
Singapore’s first-ever large-scale in-house special effects production, The ELECTRIFIED Show, is ready to set the June school holidays 2023 blaze. Follow Spark on a dimension-defying adventure and behold magic, fire, laser displays, flying drones, robotics, and nitrogen explosions. The hour-long production spans 12 acts powered by Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and the Arts (STEM+). If you’re lucky, you might even experience levitation through a flying rocket!

4. Go on a 90’s Job Adventure with Kiztopia
Kiztopia and VivoCity jointly present My Little 90’s Job Adventure, a world of pretend-play spanning 1,010 sqm. Ideal for kids from four to eight years, it comprises eight air-conditioned rooms that simulate real-life working scenarios. 5. Experience Summer in Bloom at City Square Mall
The summer holidays are the perfect time to stop and smell the flowers! So swing by City Square Mall this June and usher in a ‘Summer in Bloom’ as a family. The kids will make a beeline for Uncle Ringo’s Bouncy Flower Garden outdoors at the City Green Park. There will also be an indoor pop-up till 9 June at Basement 1 Fountain Square. 6. Paint It Forward at The Children’s Festival 2023 across Malls of Frasers Property
The Children’s Festival 2023 aims to promote inclusiveness through community activities across Malls of Frasers Property islandwide. Co-create a canvas of inclusivity in Paint It Forward art jamming sessions across 10 malls. You’ll receive painting kits with specially created canvas outlines inspired by persons with disabilities behind NDP2020 to 2022 art collaterals. For every participant who registers, Frasers Property will donate $10 to the Mediacorp Enable Fund. Each piece of artwork will come together to form a Community Canvas Collage at the conclusion of the festival.

7. Celebrate Hopes and Dreams at Children’s Season 2023
The annual Children’s Season invites young ones to explore different occupations in past and present Singapore, then discover who they want to be in the future. With unlimited imagination, they may even think up a new job or role that doesn’t yet exist! Dream up futuristic cars at Singapore Mobility Gallery, reinvent Cinderella as a Nyonya at The Peranakan Museum, and make 3D paper sculptures at Children’s Museum Singapore. Finally, participate in hands-on comic art workshops and collect stamps for your Children’s Season 2023 passport along the way.

8. Let’s Make a Better Place at the Children’s Biennale Opening
The highly anticipated National Gallery Singapore’s Children’s Biennale 2023 opens on the first day of the June school holidays. Besides exploring 11 new artworks around the theme of ‘Let’s Make a Better Place’, plenty of opening activities await. Catch Voices of Singapore’s children’s choir, explore sound with LittleCr3atures, and participate in fun-filled interactive encounters by Five Stones Theatre. There are also lots of craft workshops and drop-in activities to look forward to.

9. Be Junior Ocean Protector at S.E.A. Aquarium
S.E.A. Aquarium’s signature Junior Ocean Protector programme returns with an exciting new twist. 16. Catch a Breathtaking Acrobatic Performance in HUMANS 2.0
Remember the Australia-based circus performance group, Circa? They brought us Carnival of the Animals, as well as Shaun the Sheep’s Circus Show that runs till Sunday. Next month, they’ll also show us what it means to be human. As part of the Singapore International Festival of Arts 2023, HUMANS 2.0 is suitable for children from six years. It’s a great opportunity to expose your offspring to a rich blend of acrobatics, dance, theatre, and circus, while inspiring them to push beyond their own limits. 18. Get a Triple Dose of Fun at The Polliwogs
June is always a fun month at The Polliwogs, and this time’s no different. On 10 and 11 June, Dumpling Chronicles marks the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival. After learning how to fold your own rice dumplings, explore the origins of this festival in a fun show. Then from 12 to 14 June, ignite your child’s passion for baking at the Bake and Play Bonanza. 19. Visit Nature’s Imaginarium at Gardens by the Bay
This June, Supertree Grove transforms into a nature-themed playground for Children’s Festival: Nature’s Imaginarium. Children can hop onto the adorable Calvin the Caterpillar train for a guided tour. They will encounter Calvin’s flora and fauna friends, play among them, and learn about biodiversity in a colourful, supersized way. 24. Learn about Technology at the Smart Nation Playscape
What is a Smart Nation? How is Singapore a Smart Nation? See technology come to life through fun interactives, as gamified exhibits and multimedia give kids easy-to-understand explanations on how different aspects of technology — such as geospatial technology — came about, how they work, and their importance to Singapore today. Watch a Rubik’s Cube solving robot, visit the Cabinet of Curiosity, see how computers can analyse your face through biometric technology, then use it to let the exhibits ‘recognise’ you and record your Playscape journey in a digital Playscape Passport.
