Bought the unit for use for living room where there are no aircon. Used less than 5 times as difficult to install at my house where there are fixed grilles all over and there are no place for me to put the duct discharge point (for hot exhaust air). Saleman said dont need exhaust outlet, but the hot air NO WHERE to go! So no choice to let go as all other rooms have aircon already! No box as too bulky to keep.

You have two choices: 1. Endure the sultry room without air conditioning. 2. Find ways to extend the exhaust hose. Some question whether you want to find a solution or want to sell this air conditioner. Moreover, it may be that my knowledge is shallow, I don't know the Akira brand. In my opinion, LG or Whynter's portable air conditioners seem to be more popular.
