I am seeking the advise of those who have done tummy tuck to recommend some Plastic Surgeons in Singapore who has can do beautiful Tummy Tuck as well as reconstruct a nice looking belly button as i feel that is the focal point of the whole belly.

Looking forward to active participation & advise.

I would like to recommend Dr. Pichet Rodchareon M.D of Bangkok Plastic Surgery Clinic too. He’s famous in various fields of plastic surgery especially Liposuction and Tummy Tuck. From where I read his reviews online and from some of my girls went to have the Liposuction with him, he did such good jobs. My friend said you can contact directly to him by e-mail because he check and reply all his customers daily. Here’s his contact : [email protected]

I met Dr Pichet on June 2015 for a consultation for tummy tuck .. I believe he's quite experienced .. But I feel probably because of his reputation.. I feel an aura of arrogance with I'm not too comfortable with . I requested to see the before & after picture of his work for tummy tuck. But he insisted he only has only 1 picture to show me ... Sigh .... The price he quoted for Tummy Tuck was USD 3,500 which comes with 2 night stay in the hospital

On the contrary, I visited Dr Chartchai .. Initially only for Face Lift but I also consulted him for Tummy Tuck & he was very patient in explaining the whole procedure ... On top of it, he advise only on what he feels we need ... He will advise against it if he feels we are not suitable candidate for a certain procedure .. He was also willing to show the before & after pictures which assures me of his skills . He quoted me 285,000 THB at Samitivej Hospital inclusive of 2 night stay which i find very costly

p/s: by the way, i noticed Shannon Wong is a new member who only had one post since Mar 24, 2015 .. it's possible that she's an agent meant to promote Dr Pichet .. just a note, no bias-ness

My friend gave birth and actually slim down without going for tummy tuck. She went for some dietary program and she it's very effective.. not sure she Actually went to which one but ever since she slim down, there is no rebound effect..

Since a month I've been planning to undergo a tummy tuck surgery from a Toronto based plastic surgery clinic and I was hoping you would talk about your boob lift too because that's what I’m hoping to get done soon and it would be great to know if anyone shares their experience recovery and pain wise. I’ve lost nearly 40 kg and I've gone from an H cup to an E cup, so these are really needed to be lifted! Can you provide some insight into the recovery? It would just be nice to hear a real experience.

Hi Xue Li,

Not all people are able to slim down without surgery due to the very fact the muscle has been stretched. I have done my research & has been advised by all plastic surgeons that tummy tuck is the only way for certain people which is so in my case

Hi Juliana111,

I prefer to reserve this thread for Tummy Tuck only as i realized after my research that there is Very Little Information on Tummy Tuck while there's plenty of recommendations & advice on boob lift.
You may like to refer to the following link for more information on boob lift > www.plasticsurgeryforum.com.au

I would like to add on the new interesting information that i found so as to allow others to be more informed & enable them to seek the most advance techniques mastered by the surgeons
I have found that TUMMY TUCK scar placement has various kinds & does not fall under just 2 categories

1) Full Tummy Tuck (HIP to HIP incision or maybe shorter, but low on the abdomen)
a) Full Muscle Plication from above the belly button to below belly button
b) Full tightening of skin above the belly button & below the belly button
c) cons - long scar

2) Full Tummy Tuck with Vertical Scar (this usually occurs in patient who does not have enough excess skin to pull down to the incision line)
a) Full Muscle Plication from above the belly button to below belly button
b) Full tightening of skin above the belly button & below the belly button
c) Cons - long scar plus vertical short scar

3) Full Tummy Tuck (No vertical Scar but a MUCH higher horizontal Scar)
a) Cons - Pubis Mons may be pulled up resulting in sun-rising of pubic hair which is super unsightly (super don't like this)
b) Cons - the scar will be so high that there's no way for a bikini to hide the long scar that runs across the tummy
c) Pros - no vertical scar

4) Mini Tummy Tuck with Umbilical Float (for patients with usually lesser skin excess but NEED a full muscle repair from above the belly button to below belly button)
a) Pros - Full muscle tightening & skin tightening from above to below belly button
b) Pros- Short & Low incision
c) Cons - Umbilical stalk is cut & there's a couple of downside when umbilicus stalk is CUT so as to reposition the belly button
d) Cons - The Belly Button will appear lower & may not look good for people with short torso & it may look awkwardly out of position
e) Cons- It limits one to have a full Tummy Tuck in future if a revision surgery is required

5) Hybrid Tummy Tuck ( i love this but applies to patients who don't have a lot of excess skin to remove)
a) Pros - Full muscle tightening & skin tightening from above to below belly button
b) Pros- Shorter & Low incision
c) Pros - No cutting of umbilicus
d) Pros - No re-positioning of belly button to an awkward position
e) Cons - I don't know any surgeons in Singapore & Bangkok who perform this technique ....... ( T_T)
f) Updated - I have found Dr Marco in SG who can perform this technique, just that for my case, i am not a suitable candidate .

Is this thread still alive? Wanted to do tummy tuck for the longest time but afraid of the downtime or surgery failure. Anyone who done that can share?

Hi Shannon Wong, do you have any review online about your friend’s Tummy Tuck or Liposuction with Dr. Pichet of Bangkok Plastic Surgery Clinic? I’m planning my Tummy Tuck in Bangkok and looking for more surgeon reviews on the internet. I have seen many positive and some few negative reviews about him. So would be glad to hear out from you. Thank you in advance!

Hi Ilovehim90, I know what you are talking about for the hybrid tummy tuck. I think there are various ways to call it, endoscopic tummy tuck and robotic tummy tuck. It doesn't involve removing of any skin, but also does repair the abdominal muscle. So the incision is actually quite short and less scarring.

I know there is a Brazilian plastic surgeon - Dr Marco Faria Correa currently in Mount Elizabeth Novena Singapore. He is the one that invented the endoscopic tummy tuck, so he has many years of experience doing it. Many high profile celebrities fly in to Singapore to get their surgery done by him. I think he is on the news quite often.

If anyone is interested, can see his website here: www.drmarco.com
His Facebook also quite updated, always talk about different procedures: @DrMarcoFariaCorreaPlasticSurgery

Hi Heidi,

Thanks for the recommendation. I have consulted him. He is .... super expensive .. LOL ...

Hi Ilovehim90, l am looking for a good doctor for Vaser liposuction in Bangkok cause Singapore is way too expensive. I saw this post u might want to check out.
https://www.realself.com/review/ban...source=Sailthru&rsuid=2882550#comment-4395115

By the way, have u concluded or found any good reasonably priced doctor in Singapore? I am still very unsure Singapore or Bangkok.

Hi Snowliss,

thank you for the link. The lady in the link has no stretchmarks or loose skin. Hence she is definitely a good candidate for Vaser Liposuction. Unfortunately, i have consulted a total of close to 10 plastic surgeons, both in SG & BKK. All said that i need a tummy tuck .. LOL ....

I have not concluded any doctor in SG. I have however zoomed my choices to BKK instead as i find the price in SG twice than that of BKK. My most expensive quote is from Dr Marco but if you have hernia etc, we will be able to claim under insurance

sounds really scary..... why don't you consider slimming centers instead? i've researched and found one i can really trust... anything invasive sounds really risky!

hi snowless/ilovehim90,

how do we know which type is suitable for us, tummy tuck, Vaser liposuction ect....

after give birth to 3 kids and my eldest is 14 years old now, my tummy still look like 3months preg. no matter how I workout the tummy still the same...

if u gals are going, can I tag along too?

Hi SoulOliver,

I spend a LOT of money treating my post pregnancy tummy going to Aesthetic Clinics .
After spending XXXXX dollars & 2 diligent years of treatment, i consulted my first plastic surgeon who told me that for some people, no matter how they work out, the tummy will never go back flat again .. there are 2 medical reason for this

1) our tummy skin has been stretched to the extent that the elasticity can NEVER go back to normal. Like a rubber band that has been stretched to its limit, it has totally lose its elasticity to go back. The only way is to remove the excess skin surgically

2) during pregnancy, our Diastasis Recti has been separated & the only way is to have a surgeon to sew up the muscles so that it will come together again .

After consulted about 10 plastic surgeons (yes, 10 , i'm not joking)
i'm furious that my Aesthetic Doctor had not been honest with me causing me to spend not only time but also money on expensive treatments. If i know earlier that my condition is not treatable by Aesthetic Treatments, i wouldn't have spend such money on their treatments. Mad to the max

i also spend a lot of $$$ on slimming too....being thinking of doing the tummy tuck or Vaser liposuction long time ago but i don't dare to...if you gals want to do, please pm me, we can go together....

I think you should at least consult a surgeon first. i don't think you can make up your mind with just one consultation and i do not think it's wise .

Are you on a bigger size side? If still manageable, why not try non invasive method? I am using a galvanic body spa system for my slimming purpose. It works well but of cos not as fast as lipo.

Hi mummies, I'm also a mummy of 2 (currently pregnant with no2) after my first pregnancy (gained 30kg) i realise that the lower tummy's skin is saggy and soft. Very ugly when I wear clothes especially clothes with very soft fabric, can see the saggy tummy. So sad. Want to go for surgery too. But don't know if it's very expensive and painful? Anyone knows the price?

Hi Chubbybaby2,

asking this question means you haven't seen my earlier post .. i have listed in DETAILS how much it cost to have a surgery done .. please scroll up to take a look ....

I have tried coolsculpting, RF Skin Tighening , Pixel etc .. all by Aesthetic Clinics .. Each treatments varies from $98 to $1000 per session ..

hmm i see.. while i understand your pain, i still feel that anything invasive, if avoidable, should be avoided. i had the same issue, it took me awhile at a slimming center, but it worked! i go to SHOU. you may want to check them out if you're keen!

Hi redsox1972!

Sorry for the late reply cause I’m not quite active online recently. My friend has no online photo or review on her Tummy Tuck but she would love to talk to you by private message. (I already sent to you via pm) So you can hear from her real experience with Dr. Pichet. Hope it’s helpful for your research and good luck girl!

Just saw this.

Dr Shens used to be with TCS Aesthetics. He was popular back then with double eyelids surgery

Girls, I don`t think tummy tuck in Singapore is so expensive, because you it is completely right to pay more for quality. My sister has a tummy tuck surgery in Dr. Samuel Ho`s clinic and she is perfectly happy with the results. http://www.allureplasticsurgery.sg/abdominoplasty-tummy-tuck-singapore For those who think that lying under the knife is like buying shoes .... it is not. This is a surgery and you should pay a lot of attention what doctors and previous patients tells you.

how much did she pay for TT with Allure Plastic ?

Can i ask, if tummy already full of stretch marks, and it looks like orange skin, anyone did a tummy tuck? what is the result like? I suppose it won't look like our pre-pregnancy skin? or will it???
