Babies diet should not include any sugar up to 1 year and as for salt only 1gm salt is
required by a baby up to your child’s 1st birthday. So adding them in your baby’s food is a strict NO parents. Some of the negative effects that
are given below, that sugar and salt can have on your babies are for sure going
to convince you why sugar and salt are a big NO for your little ones.
*Bad eating habits later on: Babies start developing sweet tooth and will like junk and
foods high sugar and high salt content which is extremely bad for diet. Also,
babies may start rejecting health foods like veggies and fruits purees and
porridge.
*Hyperactivity:Babies require rest and these contents in their food can cause hyperactivity
and the baby will be at unrest which will eventually lead him to be cranky and
moody.
*Dehydration:This is a major issue with salts and sugar being added to your babies they don’t
feel thirsty and they will not even realize it. And lack of water content in
babies body is just like an invitation to a ton of other issues for your little
one.
*Unhealthy weight gain: Everybody will love those soft cheeks of your baby and say how cute
they are but you as a parent must keep in your mind that those are not a result
of unhealthy contents like salts and sugar in your baby’s food. Salts and sugar
can also cause obesity.
*Adverseeffects on Immunity: Babies are developing and need their immunity strength to
be 100%. But contents like salt and sugar have adverse effects on your babies
immunity.

Go for organic baby foods free from preservatives or additives. Purees and porridges of different fruits and vegetables like spinach, sweet potato, oats, mango, apple, carrots can help
